As alluded to in another review, it is a busy suburban campground although much quieter on the weeknights we were there as opposed to the Friday night. After all, this isn't the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park backcountry. Campsites are small but very nicely shaded and parking is one spot per cottage but how many vehicles do you need to bring to a 4 person cabin??
Also, I wouldn't want it to be huge and have to walk large distances with little kids.
Conveniently located, it was only 30 min from all the sights in St. Louis and only 5 min from Six Flags.

This was a great lodging alternative that our daughter thought was a blast, and my husband and I found tolerable and reasonably priced! It's not Disney - this should not be your primary vacation destination, but we were pleased and would recommend it to other families. The park was very clean with lots of stuff for the kids us big kids too to do.
Although it can be a little crowded, that just added to the fun for my family to meet other people and for the kids to play with. The cottages were clean. The whole park was clean and the staff were very friendly. Pretty much everything you need is right there. If you are going to Six Flags, or visiting St. Louis, I would highly recommend it.
It is more of a resort - not just a campground, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Flights Vacation Rentals Restaurants Things to do. All of your saved places can be found here in My Trips.
