Fairway was a good place of employment for me when I was a student. I was able to go to school and have a source of income while studying. I was able to provide service to a wide age range of customers. The work environment was good.
It can easily go from slow and steady to fast paced.
Besides having to work the evening shift because the morning ones go to the workers who been there longer, it was a good job. Over all Fairway is a good place to work in.

Its a busy environment with the same customers you continue to see everyday. The employees are like family and extremely welcoming. It is a lot of work in terms of multi-tasking and being quick on your feet which is not bad but they don't cut you much slack they are not accommodating to your needs but to be fair I did work at the supermarket a few years back so maybe things have changed. Fairway market is a terrible place to work management is bad very low pay they do not value employees and bad scheduling.
A lot of office gossip no one training giving. Control how to dress. Strictly and professional. Always busy and stressful. The customer were really strictly. It was nice job at times but stressful at others. Fast paced environment. A very sanitary work environment.
Friendly and very respectful staff. Store is fast paced and you have to learn quick.
Would recommend to everyone to shop and apply. Work place is hectic and lack of growth when it comes onto moving up.

Throughout my 9 years working in the Company my salary still remained the same.. I've had numerous of bosses but no pay raise. The working atmosphere is very hectic and chaotic I must say! Great location to work. Easy to get to work. Great food and good overall culture.

Became a hostile work environment towards the end. Co-workers were dedicated and driven, they did not deserve to be treated like disposable machines. Was this review helpful? Great work atmosphere. Employee work status depends on a healthy relationship between employer's and personnel I had both experience and it gave me an advantage to produce for my employer and prove what great results can be achieved with team work, I hope to continue on my employment search working for great people that can allow me to improve on my abilities and knowledge in my future endeavors thank you Fairway Supermarket!!!
I wouldn't work there again. I worked there almost 2 years until I decided to leave. The management at this particular store was horrible. During my time there, I've watched so many people quit because of this reason.
