The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service very good and the pub fare food was surprisingly delicious; though, a bit on the pricey side for wings and ribs.
Because we wanted the complete experience we put up with the inflated food prices, though there are plenty of restaurants in the area if you prefer. We are glad we ate in the Home Smith Bar, which allowed us to relax into the enchantment of the Inn. The night we did stay, the inn was practically empty affording us an unrestricted self-tour of the facilities. The resources for everything from an intimate gathering to the grandeur of a majestic ball surprised and thrilled us as we imagined the countless functions held in the castle-like settings.
Spring and summer must bring the entire place to life, with the gardens in full bloom. No wonder so many weddings are hosted here. My wife researched the internet to find the Old Mill Inn and Spa as part of our first trip to Toronto. She has always been extremely successful with her selections; and we were wonderfully rewarded with her choice this time. We were most impressed with all aspects of our stay; from the expert staff, fabulous accommodations, and close access to public transportation to downtown Toronto. Our only disappointment to an otherwise delightful stay was the absence of the jazz ensemble we had hoped to see.
They had taken a week off, unfortunately during out stay. This is definitely a place one should consider in their Toronto travel planning. We loved it and will surely return. My husband and I have been to the Old Mill a few times for an anniversary get away and it is perfect every time. Hidden in Humber Valley, this hotel is quiet with fireplaces and complimentary bottle of wine in your room. Despite it being a place for major entertaining, the hotel rooms are located away from the party venues.
We enjoyed dinner in the jazz bar and listened to a great trio for the evening. Breakfast is included and is perfect before check out.
The Old Mill is a nice change from the downtown busy hotels of Toronto. This property is stunning and so very well kept. Enjoyed a lovely birthday celebration in the lounge with the incredible Ms. Robin Banks singing the night away. Great service, great food, excellent entertainment. Fantastic getaway, great food, enyoyable music to dance to.
The room was very charming. The staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome.

Relaxing massage. Can't wait to go back again. This is a beautiful place. Got a good deal on a "luxury King Suite" including a bottle wine and rose petals and candles on the jaccuzi tub. What a treat. This room has to the the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in and is far more luxurious than even my time in the "club room" at the Grand Floridian at Disney.
The breakfast was wonderful and included many many more items that you would find at a self serve in any other hotel. Located in a quiet upper neighbourhood and with free parking. There is even a subway station right behind the inn, with a 20 minute trip to downtown. Highly recommended. Flights Vacation Rentals Restaurants Things to do.

We had a couple of issues - the hair dryer broke and it took 3 attempts to get it replaced. We had the business room which had free Wi-Fi so that was worth it but it was also suppose to come with bottled water but we only got this on first day, had to ask 3 times and got another bottle each but didn't get any the next day or the follow day.
I asked again about the water but gave up in the end because I felt petty. Dear LuvHOlidays, Thank you for sharing your review and taking the time to give your feedback. The water bottles most certainly should be replaced on a daily basis, and I am sincerely sorry this was not the case during your stay.

My boyfriend went to Toronto a few times, and he really likes this hotel. We went together in October, and he really wanted to stay there. The room was smaller than I expected, but the view totally made up for it.
We had so many things planned that the size of the room was not really an inconvenient. It was nice to sleep in, very comfy bed, and the bathroom was amazing. If you only plan to sleep in the room, its perfectly fine. Might not be very nice to hang out in, but we didn't mind.
The hotel is located directly in the center or Dundas Square, which offers an amaaaaazing view. And its close to everything!

Stayed at Bond Place Hotel for 6 nights in October and it really was great value for money. The hotel itself is fantastic. It is in a great location only minutes from the main shops, restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed every part of our holiday and it was down to having such a lovely hotel.

The staff were very friendly attentive and always on hand to help us. The hotel was spotless clean the rooms were cleaned every single day without fail. The advice that we got from the hotel was ideal they told us all the great places to visit and how much it would cost us. Could not recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking to have a truly fantastic holiday in Toronto.

The beds were uncomfortable. They have completed the renovations to the hotel and you could tell they were on a tight budget.
