Not enough parking for guests. We were there for a football game. Noisy in the hallways. Bath outdated. Prices jacked up triple for the nights bc of game--which if that is the case do something to compensate, say.. Quality Inn University Area. My room was listed as having a microwave but did not. Auburn's greatest claim to fame is as the launch site of the first liquid propelled rocket — a world first that took place in Check out Sunday. Get more value with room amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, TV and coffee maker. This was our second time staying this hotel and it was so nice before that is why we can back. The staff were super friendly and the room are really nice.
For the price we paid it was better than we thought it would be. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I have in the past. The only thing that wasn't as good as last time was, the beds this time were not as comfortable as before. But it wasn't a big deal we still really enjoyed our stay.
Value for the money. Great location with plenty of restaurants. Musty smell in bathroom as if there were a pet in this bathroom at one time. Hampton Inn Auburn. Surfside Water Park and Ruby Tuesday's, along with other restaurants including fast food, are also located near our Hampton Inn hotel.
The Colonial Mall is about 15 minutes away.

It was very clean, nice staff, spacious room, good breakfast selection. We were very pleased. Friendly staff and very comfortable room. Guest rooms feature a Flat Panel TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Location was great! We could get to Auburn University and downtown quickly with out any problem. Staff was mostly friendly and very helpful. The lobby was very neat and clean as was the room. Upon check out, we had to wait a few minutes for the staff to stop what they were doing-which is okay, but they didn't acknowledge us at all which was my problem. The bed had a few stray hairs under the comforter and the out side of the hotel had some litter problems.

Pets are welcome at this lodging. There is no charge for children 17 and under with an adult. Bed was hard, there was blood stain on the sheets, the TV did not work, the on duty attendant was un helpful. Our rooms outlets did not workand when I told Mike he tried to blame us. They had tripped the breaker before we even entered the room.
The bed had a whole in the mattress. I like Microtels so if the area of Auburn stay at the Opelika one, they are excellent. Refrigerator knocking and humming all the time. Both beds had hair on the sheets and holes in the strip of cloth on the foot of the bed. The back door to building was broken and would not lock security badly lacking lady traveling with child.

Quick check in and out. Clean, no frills room. Nice free breakfast. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, other than that ever thing was fine. Mattress could use replacing. In all fairness I did just get a new Tempur Pedic so everything falls short in comparison to that. The room did not match the photos displayed. My room was listed as having a microwave but did not. It also did not have a coffee pot which was disappointing. It wasn't dirty. Good shower, great water pressure, comfy bed! Older hotel smell. Breakfast could have lasted longer, maybe till Staff was friendly at check in, the room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel offered a nice selection of breakfast foods included with the rate. Walls are super thin and you can hear people talking in adjoining rooms. Generally, this was not a huge issue.. Nice breakfast.
