I'm in Kenosha! Pete on September 14, , I use the 6 inch on short trips and swap out to the 8 inch on long trips. I am 6 foot tall and can just see over the 8 inch , and easily over the 6 inch.
The 6 inch still scoops bugs over the top of me doesn't work for gravel though ;- But it's also about body proportion , some of us have long torsos etc , just keep that in mind. I ended up with 8 different windshields before I finally found the Klockwerks , so I have tried others. Freedom is also good , a lot thicker and stable at speed. Genuine HD screens unfortunately are pretty average.
Freedom Shields - US Highway , Unit B, Pine, Colorado - Rated 5 based on 65 My Review of Freedom Shield Coupon Code: Black. Does anyone have a coupon number for Freedom Shields? If he won't give you a discount, go back to the web route and try coupon code;.
Good luck Dave. Wife says buffering in back at highway speeds. I would recommend. I'm 5' 9". I had a 10" after I bought the bike. It is a lot better than the stock screen. Just changed out the seat which sets me up higher. Works just as good as the Freedom shield. One other note on freedom shields, it is a thicker screen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Red, Tri-Bar Light. I have the 8" dark.
I am 6' and it is perfect for me. The shield is thick so there is 0 vibration at Highway speeds nor any visual distortion if I look through the shield. I have no wind until I get over 70 mph, then some buffering coming from below. Great product, would definitely buy again.
Sent from my XT using Tapatalk. I have the 7" dark one and love it works better then the 10" Harley one I had on my ultra classic. I had the 8" Ultra Dark tint on my last bike and loved it. It is thicker and much more stable than other brands. I have a 9" dark Freedom Shield.
It replaced a 10" HD windshield. I am 6'-1" with 36 inseam. I see over the windshield with no problem.
