Being from MN, we are used to the top-notch quality and deliciousness of Caribou Coffee! Very glad a friend guided me to this stop. I will be back! I really enjoy the small cafes that exist in Rockford, and Meg's was one of my favorites.

The cafe area is really cozy and welcoming. I also really liked the coffee and pastries that were available. I went for a latte with soy milk and got a muffin top during one of my visits and it was a good way to start the morning. Definitely don't skip Meg's! The staff is also really friendly. A nice, roomy space with a fireplace. Relaxation is encouraged as there were several Scrabble games on the bookcase waiting to be enjoyed. Thank you so much for stopping in!

If you drink the regular coffee there, they also give you a free refill. The mixed espresso drinks tend to be a bit sweet for me, but that's easily remedied by asking them for half sugar and syrup.

The muffins and scones are incredible! The pistachio muffin is by far my favorite. The sandwiches are good too. I've been going to Megs since they opened years ago. The long term staff is nice and always a pleasure to see. This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in this hemisphere. This place is fine enough if you just want to get a cup of coffee, but it feels very bland and the decor is that of a breakfast diner. The workers took a while and focused on drive through customers rather than the folks standing in front of them when they could have split up the tasks.
