My husband is Thai, and it is the only place that fixes what he misses from home.. They always have interesting specials on a board as you walk in, try the sea bass, it is out of this world. My husband Thai Born and Raised says that it is food like that, which really make him miss home. If you like things spicey, they can do that, be careful what you wish for, but the chefs are more than happy to do something different. Or the Tom Yum soup, or lettuce wraps.
Really great food, and if your in matthews say hi to Golf! Thai Taste downtown Matthews — What a hidden pearl. This second restaurant of Thai Taste on East Blvd. It is fine dining at it's very best.
The flavor of the food is exceptional and the Chef prepares all the dishes with hardly any oil. I recommend the Sar Tah chicken skewers with the fabulous peanut sauce.

The fresh Summer Rolls are crispy and delicious. Tom Kha is a Thai coconut cream soup that takes a couple of bites to acustom to it's unique flavor but will have you coming back for seconds. The Gaeng Jerd soup is equally delicious. The atmosphere is elegant the service is impeccable and the food spectacular. It is like a little asian joint for neighborhood. Duck and basil leave is a must too. I havent quite found one that has not only amazing food, but great prices and decor. Thai taste has excellent service and delicious thai food, and believe me, I am a thai conoisseur. This place is highly recommend! Delish — This was the first Thai place I ate at and unfortunately I am scarred for life. I crave their Pud Thai and cannot find a dish like it anywhere else.

I have tried other Thai places in Chlt and surrounding cities, even home made.. Service is great. Only bad thing is that take out doesn't include tea or soup but it's the same price. Not Vietnamese! No Vietnamese food here, Citysearch has mislabeled it.
