This was a great day! The slides are loads of fun. The park was very well maintained and clean.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 was I felt that in the intense hot sun it would have been nice not to have to pay for a sun shade. I get all things add up but some free shade would have been nice. However know that I know I'll bring my own sun umbrella and enjoy the entire day in the park!
Our first time visit and we will definitely come again! Drove from the Interior for a day at the water slides with kids. Friend and I carpooled and brought our kids to water slides as a surprise one high schooler and two intermediate elementary school aged kids. We all had a blast!
So many varieties of slides to choose from The weather was overcast but not cold, went on a Thursday at open and stayed until close 10am - 6: I think because of the weather it was not that busy. No lines ups really And if we did have to wait, it was only a couple of minutes.
As a parent, I enjoyed the rides with the tubes that I could ride with the kids - all the kids Colossal Canyon or the double tube rides The kids loved them all! Picnic area was great and had a table or two for ourselves. The whole place was very well supervised and kept clean. All slide attendants were very friendly and patient with everyone. It is a fun place for all ages! We paid CAD for a family of 4 plus car parking entry price is based on height not age which I thought pretty reasonable compared to the various European waterparks we have been to.
And boy does it get busy! This obviously led to queues for the big attractions; I wasn't in the least bit surprised as it was a lovely sunny day in the school summer hols. I think the longest we queued was 20 minutes but it was possible to get on rides after minutes queuing too. I was impressed with the free water station where one could fill up water bottles for no charge. AbbyNews News and media website. Castle Fun Park Go-kart track.
