Old Town Florence is quaint, with beautiful shops and amazing restaurants. During the holidays, the decorations around old town Florence are beautiful! Located in Old Town, in a old time setting. Piano player in on the weekends, and excellent food and service. I go visit my family so I'm not out too much.
Los compadres is a good restaurant for good Mexican food. I love river roasters coffee. Great views of the river and a nice walk around old town.
They have great shops. La Chateau Inn great, clean, and comfortable rooms. Great seafood at Beachcomber Pub; they have an extra room of tables that can seat a large family or group. Fabulous breakfast at Little Brown Hen Cafe: G-F, Vegan menu and be prepared to split your meal. Visited Darlingtonia Oregon State Park a unique plant ; handicapped accessible on boardwalk. Lucky to attend, enjoy huge classics car show and parade! Will add event to ! The beach access was difficult because there was huge dunes to climb to get to the beach.
It was so windy the day we went to the beach, that we almost couldn't make it back up the dunes to get to our cars below. For the week we were there, Florence seemed very quiet. There was a main stretch of road that had grocery stores, retail shops, and restaurants, but everything else seemed very peaceful. We stayed at the beautiful Driftwood Shores resort on Heceta beach, and we absolutely fell in love with every second of our time there. The Sea Lion Caves was a must see. It was just a 10 minute drive from where we were, and this experience of seeing sea lions in such large numbers like that, in the wild, it was incredible.
Florence is small town friendly, has fun shops, both new and used, a boat harbor with boardwalks, quaint eateries and wonderful coastal air. We always have chowder and seafood at Mo's. We also love the Little Brown Hen Cafe for breakfast.

We have come to Florence for many years to relax and refresh and always love going back! Lighthouse Inn is on the Main Street in town very close to the Old Town section where most of the good shopping is for an old hotel it is well maintained with a Lobby full of comfortable furniture and coffee available from 7 until 11 a. The staff is very friendly and helpful The Price is Right I would stay here again for one or two nights. A warm welcome on arrival at this easily located inn.

The room was bright and fresh looking with the addition of a very comfortable armchair and footstool as well as a small table and dining chairs. It was very close to the shopping and dining of Old Town Florence. Super fresh donuts for breakfast from a local bakery and we were encouraged to take a couple of spares for the journey.
Next weekend Feb 22 — Feb Every room has an ocean view. However, that well-worn out phrase is a colossal understatement. Train station Santa Maria Novella. This 19th century square, perched on top of a hill on the south side of the river, offers amazing panoramic views over the Ponte Vecchio and Duomo.
Many other places could take lessons from this inn. The location on the beach was tremendous.

Every room has an ocean view. The hotel is away from town, so the restaurant is really the only place to eat that is nearby. Luckily, the food at their restaurant exceeded our expectations. Again, ocean view, wonderful food. Beautiful room overlooking the waterfront and sand dunes. Hotel located at the end of the old town main street and an easy walk to lovely restaurants and shops. The girl on the front desk was super efficient and no curve ball could through her off her game. Great first impression of the hotel.

I would return based solely on that. The customer service was wonderful. It's a small, locally owned hotel that has the feel it has been around for a long time. Excellent value for what I paid. Great location just across the river from Florence. Great views, friendly staff, nice pool and good hot breakfasts. The property reminded me of the motels we stayed in when I was a kid. Very nice, very clean and wonderful staff.
