I don't know how this park has managed to stay in business with such poor organization and rude employees. I will never visit Elitch's again, and will tell everyone I know of the horrible experience we had. Trust me there were many people dissatisfied. Elitch's you owe everyone that visited your park and attended the concert on July 31, an apology. Shame on the management for for not being more prepared for the crowd. Oh, and let me tell you of the Elitch Buck's that you get back when you return the key after you rent a locker. I took the expensive cups I bought to refill them for 99 cents each, I gave the employee the Elitch Bucks and she informs me she can not give me change, and is that OK.
I said no that's not OK. Would it be OK if I visited your park and didn't pay to get in? This park is a big rip off.!!! Parking seems sufficient on most days. The lines to get in are horrible. Food is not allowed inside the park so those with backpacks get checked and any food they find will be thrown away.
Take lots of water to pour over your head or drink while you stand in line for 30 minutes or more just to get in the door. Not to mention the food is so overpriced it is unbelievable. Try to eat before you arrive because if you stay all day you will be broke by the time you leave. The rides are fun and children seem to love them but if you go on a Tuesday plan on standing in line on average 30mins to an hour for a ride.
