Also there is a new transit that takes you down Estero Blvd to the square for those that cant walk to far. Loads of mom and pop restaurants as well as regular favorites.
Beach ,shop ,play , water activities, relax ,eat and enjoy. Love this place! Fort Myers beach is a fun touristy place. Great food. Some nice shops but mostly beach supplies shops. The Pier is nice for fishing and viewing dolphins. There is a lot to do there. Easy to get around on trolley, bus, bikes and walking. Love to eat at Doc Fords Rum bar and grill. Many great food options - best time to eat and drink is during happy hour, otherwise somewhat expensive but it IS a tourist destination.
Businesses and city need to do a better job in cleaning the beaches The perfect beach!!! The weather was bad a lot of the time we were here. It was rainy and cold. We decided to come back next year in February. It was really great having a place to stay right on the beach. Nice beach but traffic toward Fort Myers very slow at peak times. Enjoyed healthy breakfast at Truly Scrumptious and the staff was great. Great availability of shells. This hotel is simply beautiful! We felt welcome from the first minute we checked in.

The prices at the Tikibar and the Cafe were reasonable. There really is nothing to complain about this place. In fact, we kind of regret that we wasted so much time of our vacation in Miami instead of coming here in first place. Hopefully we can come back again! Beautiful beachfront! Tiki bartenders John and Jesse were friendly and accommodating. Good restaurant with a variety of seafood and breakfast. Drink specials were awesome! We rented a cabana for the whole day, collected seashells, went swimming, and relaxed on the beach just steps away from our door. Watched birds feeding at sunrise.
Room was nice too. It's wonderful and not jam packed feeling. I love going to the beach to relax and not stress. Best place to stay on the beach in my opinion!!! Very warm welcome. We had a big and nice room with direct ocean view. Appartement was extraordinary equipped, especially the kitchen. Free parking at the hotel possible. The room and whole residence shows a very clean condition.
This was by far the best on the beach stay I've ever had in Florida. Being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach that was not crowded was a perfect setting to unwind. A unique little hotel, with a lay back atmosphere, great location very close to the beach, and center of the city, wil definitely comeback at all-time.. Great value for the money, staff was pleasant and the hotel is undergoing a renovation but still have no complaints about the hotel or the rooms. Excellent accommodation. Bed very comfortable.
