Target printed coupon policy

But not all of them do. Stores including Kroger, Safeway and Family Dollar are more interested in getting you to use their digital savings programs than inviting you to print a coupon from their website onto a piece of paper. By not quite discouraging — but not exactly encouraging — their use, Target could reduce the volume of printable coupons it has to deal with. Your email address will not be published.

Saavy Couponers Save Bundles by Understanding Target's Coupon Policy

Good news for Target shoppers! Target just recently updated their Coupon Policy to answer some questions that often arise when you are checking out with coupons! As outlined below, this simply means that you can use one coupon per like item purchased. Thanks, Totally Target! I hope they read it. Ughhhhhhhh… Another cashier told her it was ok so thank god. Walgreens and cvs registers do!! Thank god for the change!!

I think the cashier pretended to scan the coupon just to satisfy me after I explained to her that it was a manufacturer coupon. I will be shopping at Target from now on with the coupon policy! This is SO great Target has specifically addressed both of these issues. Thanks for keeping us all informed Collin!!! For sure.

Glad for the official clarification. What stores other than Target and Whole Foods allow you to combine both their store coupons and manufacturer coupons? Harris Teeter allows customers to combine their e-VIC electronic coupons you load to your frequent shopper card with manufacturer coupons. My experience with Walgreens, has been you can only use as many coupons as you have items, regardless of what the coupons say, ex: When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon s for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.

When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple coupons for multiple qualifying items, as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified on the coupon. An excessive quantity is any quantity above and beyond normal household usage. Price Chopper also accepts competitor coupons so you can stack a manufacturer coupon plus say a Shop Rite coupon. Definitely printing this out and putting it with my cvs policy, since the cashiers never seem to know it….

Off topic: Feel free to use: Thanks, Susie. I tried both codes, but it looks like someone else got to them first. Very nice of you to post. I was staying away because I had such a negative experience on my last trip. I hear you, Vangie! I had such a humiliating and demoralizing experience on one of my shopping trips this summer that it took me two months before I returned, and then I was hesitant to even use coupons because of the bad treatment I received.

Just my luck, this manager decided that per purchase meant per transaction. I left all of my things there. I do shop at Target, just not as often and a lot more cautiously. I am so glad Target came through for the coupon shoppers on this one! Do you know if this means that they will accept Catalina manufacturer coupons are for a specific produtc that were printed at other retailers such as Walgreens or Rite Aid? I was trying to figure out if that was the case at Target as well with the policy change.

This is great. For example: I agree, Plumaria. Now if Kroger will do the same thing. Depends on the manager on duty. This is so exciting! I ended up giving up, noting which cashier I went to, and avoided that Target for awhile. Actually, any time I get grief from a cashier, I try to remember who it was and never go to them again.

Target accepts the following coupons:

Teenagers are the best. I always have the worst experiences with the teens. They always hold up the whole transaction while they find a manager to double check things. I have the best luck with the young men. Older people typically seem to be set in their ways whenever a problem happens in my experience. Target want our business. They just so not want us to use coupons!

I do three or four transactions in one visit. Letting the people behind me wait. The cashiers can only handle it this way. I just have to be organized so it moves along quickly. I do two to three transactions every time I got to Target, but not because of coupons. Groceries, Medical, Clothing, Household… all those categories have separate envelopes. Does this mean they can take register rewards? I have had my battles with cashiers, as every couponer has, but they only do this because there are SO many people that take advantage of the system.

Target does want our business, couponers or not, and this shows that they listen. Thanks Collin! Just this morning I tried to do the People magazine deal at Target and the cashier and manager would not take the MC because it states redeemable at Walmart. I will definitely be printing this to bring along.

So what do you do when you hand over your coupons, they seem to all go through, but when you get home you notice one missing? For example, the latest beauty product deal at Target. I used to notice those when I got home, too.

Target Coupon Policy (May 2018)

So, as much of a pain as it is, I recommend checking before you leave the store. Molly, I had an incident similar to this yesterday.

  • massive shop coupon code!
  • garage equipment supply coupon code?
  • Target Coupon Policy!
  • Target Coupon Policy Updates (Addressing Manufacturer’s Coupons w/ Other Store Logos + More).
  • Target's Coupon Policy.

I hope that helps you. I never had problem to use coupons with any other logo on them at my favorite Target store and yes I drive 20 min. It is nice that they put these in coupon policy. So if I have 10 target says their limit is still 4. Did the limit change at all?

If I go to Walmart I can use all 10 like coupons at once. I try my best to check it over before leaving the store. I normally have a 4 year old running off and a 2 year old trying to run off, screaming the entire time. I love couponing but my kids do not! Hi Molly, I wanted to share with you what I do with my children same age with yours: Have them get anything they like in the store, like if you will buy it for them, but tell the cashier that you will not buy them, and will return it at the end.

I hope this experience can help many moms who has similar situation. Sounds like that might work for a while. Bigger issues in the future. Never told them that you are going to buy it. Just say: Has anyone else experienced trying to buy those Gillette Fusion gift packs that have razor, shave gel, body wash, and deodorant and having a coupon for each item in the pack but Target only lets you use 1 coupon?

Target Coupon Policy: (Updated 12222)

I would still owe money but could save as well. Same thing happened with the Covergirl Outlast nail polish that was packaged with the Gillete Venus Snap with Embrace razor and shave gel. I had 1 from Gilette for the razor and 1 from Covergirl for the polish. I could not use both! Target is right. One coupon per purchase. You are buying one item and trying to use more than one coupon….. This is why there are rules. They are being sold as one. Our Target is awesome. Good Luck.

Target Coupon Policy

Cashiers, supervisors and managers are always ill-informed about the policy. I tried to get some of the great deals posted on this site. I was treated rudely and poorly at check out and unable to use coupons including Target store coupons. Happened more than once even after their customer service apologized.

So not shopping with Target anymore. I called corporate and they were informed that they were wrong and I was correct in the same situation as the first coupon policy update! I was sick of their crap, so I called their HQ and embarrassed them! Has the mobile Q changed?

However, if you have 3 items, you could apply each sourced coupon per item, as well as stacking with 3 individual manuf coupons. Hope that makes sense! Ugh I really hate couponing at target!! If the coupon says limit 4 then we can use 4. So if you purchased 4 products, you may use 4 coupons. Limit of 4 like coupons per transaction. Just had a very bad experience.

What's the Target coupon policy?

In the past, I have just put up with whatever cancelled the transaction or just paid anyway with a smile on my face. And, a manager, above all, should be very informed of coupon policies and how to read a coupon — this is tantamount to their position. At least where I am, all of the Target employees know this, including sales floor team members who are just up due to long lines. I love that I can stack a manufacturer coupon, Target coupon, and a Cartwheel savings on any single item. Loving it! I need to print this new policy out.

Why I asked?

Even when they state manufacturer coupon. I take that to mean the manufacturer is offering the price cut to reward the store for selling certain items by having the customer return to THAT store only to use it.
