Canon Rebel T2i Specs. MOV Audio: Canon Rebel T2i Reviews. Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt from A game-changing camera I'm a videographer first, photographer second.
The video from this camera is breathtaking, especially considering the price. Right now I'm using the kit lens and the 50mm f1. I highly recommend the 50 for low-light shooting. Video can be pushed to ISO without much noise at all. The full manual controls are perfect and easy to use. Keeping focus manually is not too difficult with the big 1mp screen.
Couple downsides- no full-res HDMI out while in record mode; no control over audio levels. An external monitor can still be used for composition and full-res playback. Date published: I both it for making videos and so far I am so glad I did. The thing I am most excited is the capability of exchanging the lenses and the fact the it makes a respectful full screen video, and all tho it's not full framed, the quality is amazing again for that price. The lens I am not so thrilled about, but it's my fault cause I don't know much about lenses and I was expecting to do more If I could go back I would probably save the money to invest in a better lens more expensive but one who could give me more depth of field and bigger zoom Still I am having so much fun, it definally raise the quality of my work.
It's All shooting so far has produced very good results in full auto, aperature priority, shutter priority, or video. The full p HD video is everthing it is advertised to be Really haven't found anything yet that I don't like. I can't add much in terms of technical detail to what's been written already. Also, like most of the inexpensive canon DSLRs, the grip is not well-designed for large hands. With the BG-E8 in place, it's great, but consider the extra cost of the battery grip a requirement if you're like me and have large hands and require the feel of something like the Nikon D Have a look here for samples: This was the camera I was waiting for.
I have had several Canon SLR cameras in the past so the transitions to the digital was not bad. The owners manual very easy to understand and with in a few minutes was taking great pictures. I like to shoot in manual very most of the time but in trying some of the pre-programed settings I like the look you get from them as well. I am using this camera for a camera combination of work and home and it will fit in with what I am doing very well.
So far it's been hard to take a bad photo with this camera. It's easy to experiment with all the manual settings and get some really cool effects.
I can't think of a single shortcoming to this camera other than the body is made of plastic, but that's what keeps the price down. We're taking it to Grand Teton National Park this week and can't wait to see what we can capture there. I am a graphic designer and my girlfriend is a digital artist and this camera has given us more than enough professional images to inspire our creativity.
Rated 5 out of 5 by denimbird from Totally Wonderful Product. I am not a professional photographer, but an educated amateur - It has lots of great automated programs and functions, also makes photographer-controlled everything available. The stabilization feature is incredible.
