However, the tour was a little long and cold this time of year winter , so dress warmly and bring water or a thermos of cocoa to help with the temperature.

They do have blankets to help. I wouldn't recommend this for families with young children due to the rough terrain, and be sure to use the bathroom beforehand. The Scenic Rim Tour has lots of beautiful views, but would recommend taking the 3 hour tour in late April or during the summer.

We were not able to get on top of the rim as the road was closed because of snow and ice. The lower part of the tour was very beautiful. We kind of followed an old wagon trail.
