Spirit terminal at Las Vegas was hopelessly crowded; standing room only. By contrast the Southwest terminal next door was orderly and calm. Spirit refused to absorb any of the additional costs involved in the delay. They also refused to try and rebook us on another airline to make our arrival at the next stop.
Customer service is a complete joke. Spirit did not notify us of the cancellation. Our host at the hotel on our next stop notified us that the flight was cancelled as he received notification from the limo service. This was as we were driving to the airport for the flight that was cancelled.
The nickel and dime approach to make up for the lower airfare was ridiculous and petty. We have not been treated so poorly by any airline in the past and we travel frequently. Small seats, no water got very thirsty , everything is overpriced in airports, not able to sleep, red eyes suck.
