Service was spotty sometimes-the bartenders at the market ignored you sometimes waiting 10 minutes to get a drink. The food especially breakfast was not that good. We had breakfast at multiple restaurants and we were not happy. Also, the distance from one building to a pool for instance was insane. The view from our balcony was amazing. We even saw whales from our balcony. The property is built on a cliff so you get great views from almost any room. The spa is amazing a little pricey. There are several restaurants and everyone is super helpful.
It is hard to walk around the property so most people have to use golf carts which are noisy and produce nasty gas fumes. I highly recommend to get the all inclusive option because otherwise the restaurants on the property are pricey. You have to wait for the shuttle to drive you around because it's on the hill and it's really hard to walk. Ocean view clean and nicely furnished rooms but the part I didn't like it: Also in the buffet they aren't using glass shields and any spit out of mouth can be inside food trays.
Loved the attentive staff, excellent and tasty food, beautiful resort. The time share salespeople were professional but persistent. Carts were a minor pain. Even with all inclusive we had to sign receipts for everything. Awesome golf course, close to town. Great pools with swim up bars.

Beach is NOT swimmable. Food is not the best. The physical site is amazing. Genuinely beautiful beach and fantastic view. Food was terrific too. Room was a bit dingy and old. Certainly not 4 stars. I speculate that larger rooms, or rooms in newer buildings are more appealing. This luxurious hotel is set overlooking the golden sands of El Medano. The hotel enjoys stunning views over the surrounding area. Guests will find themselves surrounded by an ample choice of shopping and entertainment opportunities. Serving a variety of tempting sushi made with the freshest ingredients.

What's the best excursion? How much should you tip? Are all; the rooms Ocean View. What does garden level mean in room description? In the descriptions the rooms do state that they are all ocean view. The garden level means that they are on the first floor. All the rooms at Pacifica are ocean view and that's all you need. I had garden level which just meant lower level or behind the restaurant impaired view of ocean but after one look at the blue water and blue sky, you forget about it.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, the friendly staff, and use the spa or exercise room. All the rooms are the same size with same amenities. No need to pay more just to be on the upper floor. All rooms are ocean view, yes. Garden level mean floor level, that you can walk out of your room onto your 'terrace' and be at the same viewing level as the gardens. It appears that all rooms are ocean view and I assume garden level to mean ground floor. Personally I would prefer an upper level room for the view.

Two hotels: The sister hotels in downtown Cabo that front the local swimmable beach are the Pueblo Bonito Blanco old name: They are side-by-side about a 10 minute walk from the marina and shopping mall. We walked, no trouble. Blanco is older and smaller, but quaint. Rose is bigger, more grand, larger pool and more area for kids and adults to separate. Type in Pueblo Bonito and you will find two in the cove where you can swim, one ended in Rosa and is pink in color.
