A few weeks ago, I was contacted from someone who ran one of the Festivals that Stunt Mom appeared in. She is now working at another Festival in Texas called Iron Dragon TV Action Fest. She told me that she thought Stunt Mom would be a great fit and offered me a free code for submission if I was interested. Well, of course I'm interested. So, I submitted it! And that just excited me about the prospect of it being shown again. Then about a week later I received in the mail, the official Patent/Trademark on the name Stunt Mom for use on clothing and hats! How awesome is that? It only took a year and a half! So with these two new things happening, it occurred to me that I still hadn't taken the time to submit Stunt Mom to Amazon Prime. So I started that process yesterday! I am very excited at the possibility of showing the film to a new audience.
Stunt Mom was my first film and it inspired me to make more! I made a film last year for the 48 Hour Film Project called The Break. It is an office comedy and it was in fact made in 48 hours. Crazy right? That film has already won several awards and has been accepted into several festivals as well. I wrote another short comedy called I'm Not Lost, and it stars the Director of Stunt Mom, Shannon Morrall. That very funny film is in post production and I can't wait to see the final product. AND I have another film in pre-production that just might have some more stunts in it. That one is called I'm Not Nice! Hopefully, we will be filming this summer. None of these projects would have been possible without Stunt Mom. I met all my fellow collaborators at Festivals where the film screened. So no matter what happens moving forward, I will always be proud of and grateful for Stunt Mom!
