Bias FX only gives you the option to adjust the front panel and the cabinet of the guitar amps. It also has a lot of stomp boxes and effects to use distortion, overdrive, fuzz, etc. Bias Amp gives you the option to adjust the front panel, preamp, tone stack, power amp, transformer, and cabinet.
But it has no built in stomp box effects.
If you need more stomp box effects, go with FX. If you need highly customizable guitar amps for your tone, go with Amp. Same goes for Bias Pedal. You can only adjust the controls that come with the models, you cannot customize the amp models "under the hood" to the significant extent that you can with BIAS Amp. If you want something thats super portable all in one then you want BiasFX, and later if you feel like the amp options are missing something then you can get BaisAmp as an expansion to it.
I would recommend you get the trial versions of both and see what the difference is and what it is that you want. This reviewer doesn't mention Bias but if you've seen his previous vids he alludes to it when comparing against the TH3 in his review. Is that a serious review?

I still use all of this stuff, but warily, and X-Drummer at version 1 anyway didn't do much to build my confidence. I've never ponied up for any of the considerably more expensive PC versions, but I've been dabbling with Bias Pedal Delay since the giveaway a few weeks back.
As expected, I love the sound of this plugin, and would probably love the other effect types, too, but it's unstable when used in series with Helix Native. That, in combination with this v2 announcement, renews my interest in Bias Amps for PC. Props to Line 6 for keeping Native pricing and installation simple: Here's everything. So yeah, I'm excited about PG's advancements, but I guess I'll wait for the inevitable email s that breaks down some kind of sale price in a few months.
