The pockets are trading card size, so for coupons. I really don't mind too much, but I know some other people do. I use about coupons a week, so this is a perfect size to hold everything. There isn't much room for categories, I just have mine as food coupons in the first half, and non-food in the second. Then I just put like things together. Haven't had any problems with it that way. I really like the size, as it can fit in my purse comfortably. So I always have it handy in case I go shopping unexpectedly.
