The animals love to be fed and have attention. The owners love their animals and take good care of them. They are open 7 days a week and open late. Sunday afternoon, everything was closed. They were open and it was one of the best things we did in the area. While the dam may be the main focal point, it's the area surrounding the dam that is really happening. Shops, restaurants and more line the road leading to the dam. It's cool to drive across, once on the other side their are scenic overlooks just a short turn to the left or right off the main road.
