Though we were the tiniest bit annoyed when, after opting out of emails, we got a letter in the post from Bounty's partner offering us life insurance. We recognised that it was the same flyer from the first pack. That said, we aren't currently in the market for life insurance, so the mail might be rather timely and handy if you are! Again, the contents will vary and change fairly frequently, but in ours we had the following freebies.
We reached out to Emma's Diary on 2 occasions to get some feedback on this but, unfortunately, they were unable to comment. Like Bounty Packs, the free samples are very useful and offer different products to Bounty. If you want, you can pick up all 3 bags if you're near a big Boots or Argos. Don't forget to check the expiry dates on the vouchers if you won't be using them for a while.
Our baby box came with a moon, stars and clouds illustration on it - we think it's adorable, but it might not be to everyone's taste.
So, we asked Baby Box University Co whether or not you get a choice of design. As of December , the free Baby Boxes are available to all parents in England. So, where do you pick it up from?
You have to opt-in to email communications from Baby Box University, which is good. However, they do use info like your pregnancy, due date and whether you have children to help personalize your experience on the site.
However, it would seem that earlier trial versions of the baby box, boxes given out in Scotland, and the original Finnish baby boxes come with a lot of useful essentials for baby, too, like packs of wipes, baby clothes, nappies, sleeping bags, etc…. The lack of stuff in the box is because Baby University Co are currently getting all items as donations from brands. We will always ensure items included are meet Baby Friendly standards.
All that said, make sure you know your stuff before you start using the box. The pack will then be sent out to you in the post. If you're embarking on the weaning journey , this is a fabulous way to keep track, and the wall chart, complete with stickers, is wonderfully colourful and a great addition to any organised kitchen. It's also a fantastic keepsake when the journey's over.
That said, you do have to fill in quite a lot of data to obtain the freebies - and none of it is essential. A free pouch of Ella's or even a voucher entitling you to a free pouch rather than just money off would've been a nice cherry on the top.
You'll then be sent the pack and start receiving weekly emails. You'll be asked if this is your first baby or not. You will then have to create a password in order to complete your account.
It might also be good to read real life stories from fellow mums and mums-to-be, though it's not like there's a shortage of those online. We do like the pregnancy diary, and it has some handy prompts for what's going on in each week of your pregnancy, but we think it's a bit small and we reckon if you're going to keep a proper week-by-week diary, you're best off getting a nicer one that will stand the test of time, and that you can treasure forever!
You get sent a letter in the post, which contains a small, fold-out paper first aid guide - which features both written intrustctions and illustrated diagrams. You'll then be sent the guide in a normal-looking letter in the post.
You then have to say where you heard about the guide. You also have the option to opt-in to marketing via telephone, email or post. Finally, St John Ambulance are pretty upfront about what happens to your data. We think this is incredibly useful! In fact, we'd say having one of these easily accessible in the house and in your bag or purse is a brilliant idea - just in case the worst happens.
They claim to be leak-free for up to 12 hours. To claim yours, simply fill out the form with your details. Simply sign up with your info to claim your 50g sample. Video Loading Video Unavailable.
