A great place to stay if you wish to explore the many treasures of the Charlevoix region. The hosts were amazing. So conscientious and worried about every last detail. They should be the AirBnB reference model! The house was a perfect place to stay for our ski trip in Le Masiff. It was very clean, had a nice common area and had many cute details. Ancestral home close to everything - literally you can walk to all restaurants, stores and art galleries. Very clean with all you will need to make your stay comfortable - beds were a little to firm for our tastes but everything else was perfect!
A home full of character and charm, everything we needed was there. A stones throw from downtown Baie St. Paul and only 15 minutes door to door to le Massif. I could only find fault in the noise of the street that continued all night and since all bedrooms were on the front of the home, bothered all occupants. Since we live in the country and have a ' driveway perhaps we are sensitive to this, but like all savvy travelers we had earplugs to solve the problem. Would not hesitate to book again. The house is very central and has three large comfortable beds- was a great home away from home for us.
Baie Saint Paul is a lovely town. Thank you. This is a really cute place, well-equipped with absolutely everything you could need for a ski trip. They even provided plenty of toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent and boxes of kleenex, which are often not provided in rentals. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs, and one on the main floor.
The main floor shower was great. We didn't even try the upstairs one - our kids came downstairs to shower since the shower was so good: The place is a one-minute drive from the IGA grocery store which has pretty much everything you might want - an impressive selection for a small town. The grocery store also has great hours - open til 10 most nights.
The street is a fairly main street with lots of noise of snowplows etc in the night so if you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring ear-plugs. On the plus side, you can walk down the road for a few minutes and you are right there at the restaurants and art galleries. The beds are a little bit hard, but since we were tired out after a long day skiing, it wasn't that noticeable.
There was lots of space to park - we only had one vehicle but there was plenty of space for 2. The snow was well cleared. There was no wi-fi which our teenagers complained bitterly about , but it worked out in the end as we brought DVDs and watched some old classics without being distracted by the latest posts on Hidden by Airbnb. The kids caught up on their wi-fi needs at Le Massif at the end of the ski day. I would definitely come here again! Great, sparkling clean apartment with everything you need. Easy check-in. Unfortunately, the sound isolation is poor. A broad, covered, stairwell led us up to this surprisingly spacious second floor apartment.
The apartment itself was well appointed, comfortable and bright. While the unit is not air conditioned we were kept comfortable on a warm 28C summers eve with the ceiling fan and pedestal fans. Frederic, himself, was quick to respond to any query which made our stay all the more relaxed. You can tell Frederic takes pride in the experience he offers his guests.

This apartment is located in the center of the quaint town of Baie St Paul. It feels like a throw back to another era, so peaceful and beautiful. Frederic's apartment was extremely clean, well organised and met our needs perfectly as a family. We loved the view and the feel of the house and Frederic was there to add to this wonderful ambiance.
Frederic is very quick to respond to your question before you arrive and available to chat about things to do while you are there. We look forward to visiting again and highly recommend it to anyone!!

We enjoyed three nights in The Loft, which was clean, warm and well-equipped for our needs including an espresso machine Despite being located on one of the principal streets entering the town, the loft was very quiet and we slept well.
The bed was comfortable too. The property is well-located and within walking distance of art galleries, restaurants, shops, the spa and train station. I would stay here again. Exactly as shown in photos. Delightful neighborhood. We loved the fresh breeze we got in the late afternoon by opening the windows.
This was our first experience with Airbnb - it was a very positive one. Great place with lots of room and just a perfect location if you want to enjoy the restaurants and bars of the village. We liked it. We were greeted by two of Colette's friends who were outstanding hosts, making this Inn even more inviting.
They were on the premises 24 hours a day and answered all of our questions about the house and community. It was easy to enjoy the common space and our private room was clean, crisp, fully supplied and quiet. Perfectly located to make a stroll into the village center easy. Paths for longer walks lead out from the house.
Colette's Inn and her two hosts made our stay in Baie-St-Paul even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning to your Inn Colette. We spent 5 nights with another couple and loved the location and the apartment. Great stay and happily we were able to use the roof top deck every night! We look forward to a return visit next year. Laurence was a an excellent hostess treating us to Belgian beer, homemade treats, excellent bread and everything we needed for breakfasts. I'm sure we will be back! Laurence is an awesome host! Les Petits Brasseurs is a very well kept and cozy place to stay, and it's really close to downtown Baie-Saint-Paul which works great for walking everywhere. We're definitely coming back: Massif skiing Christmas Eve success. We liked the hospitality and dedicated attention to little details.. We were happy to discover so much variety of food for breakfast and enjoyed the bio eggs tastes so natural , and home made jams and of course the beer: The place is very conveniently located, central, and so cozy with all the essentials for cooking and even a Christmas tree.
Each room with a bathroom is a real treat. Thanks again Laurence for making us feel comfortable and at home.. We will definitely consider coming back once we decide to ski at massif. Very nice location on the River our teenagers 15 spent time making a snow fort in the backyard magical. Laurence is the greatest host.
She left us beer, coffee, a freezer full of artisan bread, local cheese. We loved walking around town, walking to the nordic spa which we had to ourselves at night, and the short drive to Le Massif. We were three couples. Would definitely stay again. Lots of parking, which was great.
Checkin was a door code so we didn't meet Pierre, but he messaged to see that we were settled in okay and was quick to respond when we had a question. This is a great home base for exploring the area. Downtown restaurants were a minute walk, and grocery stores are close as well. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our stay at Pierre's was wonderful. The house might seem a little old from the outside but fear not, it is squeaky clean and new on the inside. The location itself was great, we were close to fast food chains, the Baie-Saint-Paul downtown, and so on.
You also have your own private parking space considering how small the streets leading up to downtown were. It's a pretty quiet neighborhood so you can be sure to sleep tight. You have a fan in every room to assure comfortable temperature at all times in addition to the AC of course. Overall, it's a really enjoyable place to stay because you have ample space to eat, sleep and rest. I guarantee that you'll enjoy this place. You really have everything you need for a short to long stay. Only con: The door can seem tricky to close and lock so please make sure it's a million percent closed for safety and comfort reasons.
Pierre was very nice and very understanding about our late check out. The kitchen was very well equipped. Pierre could have been a bit more communicative but he did respond when it really mattered like when we needed a late check out. I'd recommend this place to anyone on a budget because this was a terrific value for the money. Clean, well appointed, simple. Pierre's location was in a good location - about minute walk from downtown Baie-St. Paul and within 45 minutes of Charlevoix hiking parks.
