Just make sure you play games on p instead of 4k. How is the fan noise? I currently have a Dell and am incredibly annoyed at it since the fans almost are never off, even when doing minimal load tasks. I'm worried that the XPS 15 will have similar issues if not worse since it is a much smaller build than the On my completely stock XPS 15 no undervolting, no repasting , the fans do get loud during gaming and intensive loads -- like all notebooks that aren't fanless, and those are necessarily throttled -- but the fans are quieter than many notebooks I've used during general use.
And even when they're spun up they're not as annoying as many systems because they run at a lower pitch. I wear earbuds or headphones most of the time and never really notice any kind of fan noise. Having that said, when rendering or performing full load tasks the fans do ramp up and get pretty noisy.

I believe you still get the day return period and the warranty extension to 2 years. The biggest issue you will have is thermals so it gets hot but not uncomfortably hot. No reposts, spam, self-promotion or rehosted content. Lol, dell sucks. As does any other laptop maker with its leading machine, Dell actually runs deals on its XPS 13 rather often … just not as large of ones or as frequently as, say, its mid-range Inspiron lineup. This computer is so overrated. It seems like the Intel I installed is a still more stable than the Killer card.

More info is available here. Best place to buy Dell XPS 15 for a student? After researching a bit i've settled on the Dell XPS 15 as it seems to cover all of my needs and then some.
