Went here on a Friday night to celebrate my sons 14th Birthday was perfect we got to dance on our table sing along with the band and the icing on the cake was the band signing happy birthday in English then German and threw in a yodel. We went to this restaurant for a birthday party.
It was an off time so the noise level might be higher during peak times. They did not play constantly and for maybe 5 minutes at a time. The restaurant does validate your parking at the desk. The food was very good and we will return again! Place was too loud to have a conversation. Service was slow even though not super busy. Food was good, however. We met here for a small gathering of friends. The service and the beer were good, but the food was a little pricey for what you got.
Food was just okay. It was an experience. Server was very friendly. Excellent new years spot!!! Both my girlfriend and I were surprised at how quick the food came out despite it being so busy. The beer charges are exorbitant.
Not many choices in menu. The vegan cutlets were tasteless, hard and chewy, only the outer fried part was good- not worth the price.
Salmon fish was done well and good. The waitress was extremely patient and well versed with all the menu items and provided all information and suggested the right kind to order.

So the good experience dining wise was the waitress, potato pancakes and fish! New Years eve. Live music, friendly servers, and authentic German beer. Great new years eve activity for kids! Took our 1. I am almost nervous to tell people about it because I want to continue coming back. The kids loved the magic show and the whole atmosphere was family friendly and festive. Thank you! Love it! Visited HoifBrau Haus in Germany years ago. Same feeling here! Great food, too! But it's a festive and loud atmosphere -- a fun place for groups and families. Something was seriously off. I've been a regular at Hofbrauhaus since the soft opening.
I have experienced where they had to shut down food orders and management handled that with professionalism and humility. I have been there for Octoberfest where the place was slammed and the staff never missed a beat. This visit can only be summed up as a train wreck. The problems fell in two areas food and entertainment.
I ordered the Jagerschnitzel for an entree. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, the place was almost empty, however, the food still came out cold. We did a Pretzel for an appetizer, the Obatzda tasted more like Liptauer and had a crust on it, like it was pre-made the night before or put under a heating lamps by mistake. The duo playing only made a bad dinning experience miserable.
The female was trying to sing a soprano line and her voice was no, more like a 2d alto. Her performance made me feel like I was in Beijing listing to Pinyin or like fingernails on the chalk board.
The male playing the tuba, was missing a lot of the notes. I ended up boxing my meal to go and finishing my beer and got out as quickly as possible.
Having pointed out minor issues in the past to management only to get the brush off, I felt it was best to leave and post a review. Great food and fantastic beer. What more can you ask for? The veeeeeery best.
Outstanding food. Amazing atmosphere! Worth a drive and family friendly. Nobody raved about the food. It was adequate. I had the roast beef and it overdone and dry. Service was ok, nothing to write home about. Won't be back anytime soon. Man i love this place. Cant keep me away. Our waiter was a real star last weekend too. Blew us away as he took the mic! Let's face it--you're not coming here for the food, which is good because most everything is too salty.
The beer hall atmosphere and live music are the main draws and are lots of fun, tho' the volume of the music can be oppressive depending on where you are seated. The brews are decent but not worth the trip on their own. Weekends for lunch or an early dinner are better for the kids, as the crowd can get rowdier as the night goes on and more leering too--the authentic costumes for the waitresses seem to give the place a "breastaurant" draw for some.
You don't go here for the food! Food is just average at best, but the atmosphere is of a genuine German venue.
Noise level,is quite high but service was decent. Best service and German entertainment!!! Best music band Dolomiten Banditen!!!! Great food. Best beer. Was awesome filling fun and entertaining! Thank You!!! The grandkids could be loud there and it was ok A fun atmosphere! Poor service. For the most part this restaurant is a fun place to visit. I don't recommend it for younger crowds, this place is catered to middle-aged people. Akron Family Restaurant. Alley Cat. Beau's on the River.
Blue Door Cafe. The Eye Opener. First Watch. Flying Fig. Fred's Diner.
The Girves Brown Derby. Michael's A. Valley Cafe. Wally Waffle. Here's what to expect: Dishes rotate, and coffee was decent with refills Cost: Previous eats: The city of Munich requires Oktoberfest tents to keep one-third of the seats in the central aisle unreserved during weekdays and all of them on weekends.
If you arrive when the tents open at 9 a. The biergartens are also a good option when the weather cooperates because there is no reserved seating in these areas. Instead, you can mingle and move around as you please. However, these biergartens may also be much more crowded than the individual beer tents.
If you really can't get a seat, consider going to one of Germany's many other boisterous folk festivals.
