Stayed 2 nights in February Pool was not open no notice prior to booking, staff lied about getting money back for using another pool on the day, huge stain on carpet, staff moved our items in the room, constant noise from drilling in the hotel, the manager was rude and would not own up to problems. The hotel states satisfaction guarantee or you don't pay absolute lie, we brought up that we was far from satisfied, she claimed that it's only if they can't fix the problem yet they did not fix the lie of getting money back for the pool on the day, did not fix the noise yet still would not accept that they was not satisfactory and refused to uphold the guarantee.
Not at all 5 star treatment or hotel the only 5 star bit was the lobby as soon as you are in the shoddy rooms they don't give a damn. Reviewed February 11, Did you find this review helpful? Yes No. John from United Kingdom. I was expecting complimentary breakfast only to be told that the "offer" I clicked on did not include it. No mention of any rebate To be honest I felt that as if I was enticed to book here under false pretences. Reviewed February 08, Lucy from United Kingdom.
Stayed 1 night in January This place is my favourite place to stay when visiting Manchester. The rooms are lovely and classy, not to mention immaculate.
The staff go above and beyond and the lobby smells incredible not sure what that is but they definitely pump something into the air. They do also have a pool here and a sauna I think but these were closed due to refurb. If you stay here, be sure to get a Kronut from Albert Schloss over the road, they are to die for! Dinner is also great there. Reviewed January 15, Richard from France. Solo traveler. Fabulous hotel in a great location. The room was great, very spacious with a KS bed and a huge bathroom. Nice little extras like a Nespresso coffe machine! The free breakfast was delicious and a big bonus as it was unexpected.
All the staff from reception, concierge and restaurant were very courteous, helpful and pleasant. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and colleagues! Reviewed January 07, Sharon from Singapore. Family with teens. Deluxe King with City View. Stayed 3 nights in December Will choose this hotel again if we are gg Manchester again next time.
