Skylon Grill
Trust me and avoid. Successivamente, dopo esserci seduto al tavolo si presenta un cameriere scortese e maleducato. Delicious food and friendly staff but service was a little slow.
Lovely place to catch up with friends - food better than I remembered from last time! The food was tasty, service efficient and we were lucky to get a table by the window. A nice setting and good value with the offer. The sommelier was a bit intrusive, that was quite negative but everything else was perfect and the service was brilliant: It is always lovely going to Skylon. It is my tenth time there and the view, ambience and the space is excellent.
The current manager, Ricardo Mimoso, is doing a great job making the necessary adjustments to keep a restaurant like Skylon continue to shine amidst the newer restaurants around London.
Skylon is constantly looking for ways to add value for our customers in Southbank , whether through new exciting partnerships, one-off events or great value set. Skylon information - The biggest draw at Skylon remains the view of the Thames, among the best of any restaurant in London.

Bar service was poor Nice meal for a Christmas get together. Food was pleasant, but very noisy as two large groups were having Christmas parties in the bar area. Good view, good food and excellent service. First time in this place and I really like it! The service was excellent, food was delicious, wine was great! For sure will be back.
Tricky during party season as it was very noisy and busy. Food was very good although quite a limited menu to be fare. I would go again though. Just ok not bad but certainly not one to rush back to. Will go back. Nice atmosphere and views. The food is good in the set menu. A nice evening in this London landmark.

We had the special 3 course menu which had a reasonable choice of options. Were not keen on the fizzy white wines which are standard with the meal, and when asked they swapped for the house red, which was of acceptable quality.
Although the meals are small, after 3 courses we were quite full up This is an irregular regular visit of ours as basically we have been many times, but we don't come often. The service was a little bit slow this time, but there were some large groups that had descended for Xmas parties or something, so it was to be expected.
Another enjoyable meal at the Skylon. I've been to Skylon on a number of occasions over the last few years but I felt rather disappointed this time. The portions seem to have got smaller, the food a bit blander and the service a bit more offhand. The apple and berry crumble made up for it though, and it is very convenient if you are attending anything at the Southbank, but I would once have recommended it as a destination its in own right and I'm not sure I would now.
We were so well looked after, we were celebrating my mums birthday and we were given a fabulous table by the window with a special birthday dessert with a candle. A wonderful evening, thank you. A lovely restaurant and dinning experience. The only slight criticism was that I did not like how I was told that the steak could not be cooked to my liking. Other steak houses and grills both independent and chain would accept my request. All other staff that assisted in serving us were knowledgable and the service was excellent.
Our first visit to Skylon and we were suitably impressed with the river views, some excellent food and very pleasant staff. I would only recommend coming here for the set menu and do the pairing for a good value, especially if you're coming from post-theatre at the NT. The service is just fair, I would say it's quite slow and lacks personality.
