This program is offered within our Learn to Skate Program to develop the fundamental skills needed for Basic Hockey. This will include starts, stops, forward and backward skating, turns and transitions. No pucks This is a requirement for advancing to Learn to Play Hockey. An evaluation by our Hockey Director and his staff will determine the ability of skaters to move into the Learn to Play Program. As a General rule, skaters are eligible to move to the Learn to Play Program once they have mastered the fundamental skills of Basic Hockey 1 and 2.
It is highly recommended that players who do move on, continue to develop their skills in Basic Hockey 3 and 4.
