Perhaps this is something he is supposed to point out, however, no one at the table remembered hearing this. Big difference in quality. Bottom line - ask questions before ordering this meal deal. Very disappointing. It's taken me a few weeks to get my head around the terrible New Years Eve dinner we had at this place.

They had a price fix menu which for New Years I can understand. The prices where doubled for New Years which is understandable if the food was good and it was not!!!! We sent back Steak, Potatoes and we could have even sent back the Veg - but we could not be bothered. We have been there a few times since it has changed hands and thought we would give it one more try - well we did and will never be back. Mike from Waterdown , Ontario. The service was excellent. The wine, garlic bread and Greek Salad was excellent but it went downhill from there. The fries and vegetable were cold.

The steak was overcooked. The new steak was very tough. This place is way over priced. The "Prime Rib Club" of Burlington, Ontario 4 couples , visited the restaurant on Sunday, 15 January , to try their all-inclusive fixed price prime rib dinner.

Unfortunately, no Yorkshire Pudding. Enjoyed a very good dinner in a quiet, relaxing, semi-private atmosphere. The prime rib, ordered by some as 'medium rare' could have been a little rarer, but a very generous cut of delicious prime rib with lots of 'jus'. Very good service along with a pleasant discussion with the owner. Our overall experience was very good. Definitely recommended. It is unfair to judge a restaurant in a very busy night such as New Year's eve when we dined there We were given a time that was available..

We along with several other people were standing in a very tiny entrance for over half an hour over the assigned seating time, with our coats on as there was a cold draft from the door as others arrived. Very uncomfortable.. The hostess did give us a glass of wine to help with the inconvenience. This is a very traditional, old school, upper scale steakhouse.

My parent's got a coupon for dinner for 4 from travelzoo which we decided to use for my birthday. We thought it was a good value and we definitely weren't expecting to get as much as we did. The menu we got to choose from had so many options. Not only did we get our choice of soup or salad, but also an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. My husband is a huge fan of french onion soup and he said that the french onion soup here was reminiscent of Barclay's in Toronto from his youth.

I had the peppercorn steak and it was delicious. My husband and parents really enjoyed the prime rib. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The service was also great. The staff were very nice and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a nice meal. I'll be coming back. My partner and I decided to celebrate an occasion here on a Saturday and made a reservation for 5: We arrived and were seated in a side room that was quiet and overall the interior is you would expect in an old style steak house.

The garlic bread was warm, tasty and dripping with butter, absolutely delicious. The soup of the day was vegetable beef soup, a wonderful tasty broth, and a nice balance of beef and vegetables. When it arrived I found my prime rib, still on the bone, a healthy sized portion and ……… shockingly, as promised, the best that I have ever had. I had ordered it medium and it was tender, juicy and delicious.

A small scoop of garlic mashed potatoes and a collection of vegetables. I was allowed a taste of the Rib Eye Steak rare which also was delicious. The dessert was Baklava which my partner quite enjoyed.

My partner also had a martini. Overall it was a very nice evening, I enjoyed our interaction with the owner Peter who takes great pride in his establishment.
