So choose for our adult beverages a chardonnay and a house red with soda water. Ordered Tin roof Bistro Brussel Sprouts with anchovies, plus Blue cheese haystack skinny fries for appetizers, very interesting and creative. Followed by the Rubino's Thai Turkey Burger with ginger, lemon grass, mango slaw and red curry mayo which was outstanding.

The facility is very open and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the long communal table and benches down the center of the restaurant, great way to make new friends. Cheesburger, fries, and a drink The biggest rip off in Belmont Shore. They charge extra for fries. The only alternative to fries is dried-out mushrooms. Heaven forbid you should order a beer. Don't waste your money here. Soup has just enough spice, salad has a light dijon vinaigrette and the fish taco had these delightful fired peppers. Service was very attentive, but not overbearing. Food was served quickly and hot!

Service has declined as of recent, while cheery and nice it can be slow if you're there during down times! Marri's is a Long Beach institution, a place I have been enjoying since back in the days of the downtown location. The pizza has a fairly thin, crispy crust and a sauce that seems to have been cooking all day--tons of herbs and wine.

A little heavy-handed on the cheese for my taste, but all I have to do is ask for light cheese and they deliver the request. What a surprise when my sister and I wound up there because we wanted Italian and were too tired to cook. She had gnocchi with pesto and I had linguine primavera with chicken. The garlic was generous and wonderful, the sauces perfectly executed.
All meals come with soup OR salad and garlic bread, all for somewhere between 10 and 15 bucks, depending on what you order.
