The free blankets I get on other lines with the chill out significantly better! Food and drinks was nonexistent which I suppose is the new trend cutting service for profit.
Entertainment it was nice that each seat had a screen, however the selection of entertainment was poor!
For example each TV series only had one episode available. Ridiculous lack of service, supwr low cost low quality airline. Seats were comfortable and both flights were on time I wish there were more movies to choose from and a little more room in the seats. I like the service, the crew and the overall experience of flying Swiss. I fly this route around 6 times a year and the planes get older and older.
Staff boorish and entertainment limited but works well. Departure was suddenly changed from 4 to 7 without clear announcement. On the Norwegian terminal nor on the departure boards nothing was indicated nor had anybody bothered to leave a note or sign on the Norwegian Terminal 4. But apparently for Norwegian one has to purchase food and drinks on top of the ticket, otherwise you don't even get served water in a 7 hour flight, which is completely ridiculous. Btw, I pre-purchased food and water.
It's the fact that the people who sat next to me didn't get served water when I received food and drinks that made me very uncomfortable. Disembarking from both front and back is nice and efficient. Wish more airlines did that. Both flights were delayed by more than an hour. You'd think a company called Norwegian would be ready for cold weather.
When calling support they refused to change my name as it was 4 hours before the flight The crew seemed relatively friendly when you were able to get their attention on the flight, and the planes were in fairly good condition. Delayed going out, and delayed coming in, even had to wait on the baggage for over an hour. This company has no real sense of urgancy or concept of customer's time money they consume with being late.
Both of our delays were due to late crews which made us miss our connecting flights. When they got there there was no real sense of urgency or understanding that passengers on the flight had connecting flights to catch. I wish there was a larger selection of food to order and that the portions were larger. The beverage cart only came by once during the trip, though water was offered twice. The entertainment selection was mediocre with mostly old movies and many movies offered only in Icelandic.
The IcelandAir staff were very friendly and the seats were comfortable. I will definitely be traveling with IcelandAir again.
