Went for a KFC as its familiar and we were in a hurry to eat before going on the Hobbiton tour. This kfc was very clean and service was quick. The fries were very salty even for kfc. We didn't try another kfc in New The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like paste. I don't write bad reviews as a matter of course, but this was one of the worst dining and indeed KFC experiences I have ever had.

We ordered a meal and a coffee and a tea. My wife wanted sweetener and when I asked for We called in on a Saturday at 6pm. Four cars in front of us at the drive through and almost no one at the counter. Staff member sitting smoking an e cigarette outside. It was 30 minutes until we were served and 45 minutes until Waited to be served for around 8 minutes before we walked across the road to Mc Ds. The tables and floor also needed a good clean. The service through the drive-through has been lacking. Waited for over half an hour twice now, as there is a lot of traffic flow through Matamata with a lot of takeaway We dined in and it took 4 goes to find a clean table!
