The rooms have a cold, uninviting vinyl sticker flooring over a hard sub floor. Room and staff were great. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and big. Coming back. Breakfast could be better. Sausage was veggie, canada bacon was just heated up. Real butter was absent. Waffle was good. I stayed there a couple of weeks ago and still can't get out of my mind the horrible peach fragrance throughout the entrance, front desk, and lobby area. I liked everything. Staff was very polite and helpful. I purchased a jacuzzi suite and I was very impressed with how nice it was. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. We had a very pleasant, relaxing evening.
The only thing I didn't like was that there aren't many bigger, nicer restaurants to eat at very close by. I would have loved if the room had a little more information, brochures and ads for Places to eat, bowling alleys, movie theaters stuff like that Other than that we had a wonderful experience as first time "stayers" at the Hampton Inn.
We will most definitely be back soon. We are in an ideal location for attending the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the annual Iola Car Show or year-round sporting tournament events. Outdoor lovers delight in the fact that we are near several major snowmobile trails and only a half-hour drive from the Granite Peak Ski Area. Experience our clean accommodations and friendly service for yourself. It was clean, which is most important to me. No staff at front desk both during check-in and check-out. Having worked for this chain, I find that highly unusual and not acceptable. Breakfast was the same both days but there was no biscuits and gravy or eggs left and nobody attend thr food to ask for some. So we only had a muffin and OJ but no warm food, usually they have eggs and bacon one day at least. We were awakened xs during the night. The hallway doors slammed and sounded like explosions.
Management was moving chairs, etc for a wedding in the middle of the night. The room was nice, but the location was more remote. Honestly, being a woman traveling along, I didn't feel safe. There was hardly anyone other travelers there. The lobby was very dark. Took about 5 minutes to check in and the room was prepaid. I ended up the the king suite and it was pretty big.
Two separate rooms. Good breakfast! Quiet location! Nice hottub! We will be back! No vending machine for bottled water. Even a small refrigerator at the front desk with some water and other drinks would have been convenient. Very clean and quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable and even having a room not far from lobby we never heard a thing. It is Ina bit of a lonely spot, not close to good bars or restaurants. We have a well-equipped fitness center for reenergizing, and a heated indoor pool and soothing hot tub to relax away the stress.
Didn't realize there was not a refrigerator in the room when I booked. Our bed and pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. I woke up with a headache from the smell. The bed was very comfortable and the room size was bigger than most. It was awkward finding the entrance without having to double back. Also, the morning of my checkout was a lengthy delay. The desk clerk kept having trouble with someone else's credit card and a line was gathering 7: Also, the lights didn't work in the eating area - it looked like it wasn't open.

Bed looked horrible, thrown together. Central Wisconsin Airport is 20 miles south from the hotel. All rooms feature refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and board and TV. Center Point Mall is 5 miles from the Hotel. It's close to the Hwy and far enough away from campus that it's quiet and relaxing. Good price too!! Spacious clean room with a very comfortable bed, and a delicious hot breakfast. That's all we needed. Seems they're working hard to improve the property, and we like what they've done so far.
Looks good, we'll be back. The receptionist was very friendly and inviting! When we arrived she had just finished baking cookies, and was very accommodating. She was so polite and quite funny! The hot tub was cold. It was fixed first thing in the morning, so we still got to enjoy it!
