But the minute we stepped out of the elevator into the 2nd floor hallway towards our room we were so disappointed! The hotel is so downgraded I mean the lobby looked like it had nothing to do with the actual hotel.
It was an ugly color very dirty. Needed so much attention to detail. Not to mention that the couch in our room seemed like it had a blood stain!! That was very unprofessiona to me, for a hotel to allow that that couch continues to be used.!! Coming from the hospitality industry the radissons was not my favorite needs so much work with staff being more attentive, more courtesy but overall it needs a major renovation! I will not be returning, the couch did it for me!!
Very clean appearance, comfortable bed, great freeway access. It definitely comes across when you first enter and throughout the whole stay as a clean, comfortable place. Wifi basically non-functional, which is funny, as it has conference rooms and bills itself as a business hotel. Also very loud freeway traffic from room. Somewhat understandable as it's right there, but you'd think they would be able to install a better window.
The sleep number bed. Ermahgerd it was so comfy. I've never tried one before but damn I slept well. The room was nice, it had a microwave and a mini fridge, which was nice. The hotel was nearly 30 minutes from the airport. That's a long freaking ways. You skim the Kayak app looking for an affordable airport with a shuttle expecting the hotel to be no more than minutes from the airport.
This Radisson was nearly 30 minutes away. On top of that, the shuttle only runs from 4AM - 11PM. We booked the hotel not knowing we were about to miss the shuttle. We booked the hotel not knowing that the 4AM shuttle would barely get us to the airport in time for our flight the next morning.
Check-in was a breeze, and it was a very nice hotel for what we paid. The Sleep Number bed took a bit to adjust, but that was the only thing! Econo Lodge Denver International Airport. Call to reserve the Stay and Fly Rate. Rooms small, bed was uncomfortable, AC did not work. Place smelled like burnt marihuana. Ease of access to Denver Int'l Airport and plenty of restaurants and bars around for food or a late night drink. Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and was very hot in the common areas. The air conditioning had obviously not been operated in many months.
The hallway my room was located on reeked of pot and the room itself smelled very musty like wet dog which fortunately passed after several minutes of acclimation. I checked the bed for bedbugs and luckily didn't locate any. The bed was serviceable but thin enough I could feel the springs Bathroom facilities were average but the hot water ran out during my shower.
At least with the money saved on the room I could afford a real breakfast elsewhere. Smoky Smell and just not the accommodations that bring out the creativity I needed. None of the door keys worked. We had to have staff open the door if we left the room, or leave it open!! Not secure or convenient. Shower leaked all over the floor. Toilet required the tank lid to be removed to quit filling. We weren't there long, but would not go back. Hallways and lobby smelled of weed.
The wifi was difficult to connect to. Location to light rail. No follow-up phone call from management, which had been promised by the staff. The non-smoking room I chose online was overbooked, so I was assigned a smoking room. I was very disappointed. You could tell it was cheap. Beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner made a horrible noise. AC was not working, they knew it but didn't say anything even after I asked.
Charged me for one night even after checking out 30 min after I was there. Found it difficult to have a restful night's sleep as I was woken repeatedly by noise and loud voices from adjacent room from midnight to 4 am. After that restless night, was woken again by housekeeping staff who were yelling to each other outside of guests rooms despite numerous do not disturb signs.
All I wanted was to rest, and this hotel disappointed. The staff was helpful enough in refunding our pre-paid second night after our check out.
The first thing we saw when we walked in was a laminated sign on the bed suggesting that we lock the door and monitor our possessions to ensure nothing was stolen. Then, we turned back the bedding only to find cigarette burns, odd stains, and a patch with a weird texture. The whole facility smelled stale and of cigarettes.
We checked out 30 minutes after checking in, and went to the Holiday Inn. Do not waste your time or money on this facility. Featured amenities include a hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary available 24 hours. Maybe add more variety for breakfast.
Been to hotels like comfort inn, with breakfast they have more variety like fresh fruit, bacon, omletes bigger bagels, hard boiled, eggs, just way more choices. The Hotel was convenient to the airport, and the check in was easy. Bus drivers were pleasant.
The tea was not by the coffee, and the cups were not close to either. There was no decoration in the room or a t. Staff was friendly, in a great location off the freeway and had plenty of things to do around the hotel. It was pretty clean for the most part, the room smelled a bit odd though.
Would definitely stay here again. Walls in room weren't soundproof, had babies in room next to us and cried all night long,. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and large. Hallway could have been cleaner and updated. Couldn't find the ice machine. Apple juice not working. Clean, staff very pleasant, quiet. Continental breakfast was just fine.
Staff took us out to the airport four o'clock in the morning no problem. Comfortable bed Clean Good water pressure Free breakfast. Blackout Curtains didn't cover entire window Air Conditioner didn't seem to work as well as we would have liked. Hotel resembled a high school locker room. The only semblance of a hotel is the banner hung over the former hotel sign on the entrance that reads Lexington Inn. You can also enjoy our free buffet breakfast, free WiFi, business center, hour fitness center and a hour pool with a a hot tub.
Each room also comes equipped with a coffee maker, iron, ironing board and TV. Join our Choice Privileges program and start earning rewards today. If you need a place close to Denver airport just to crash, this is your place. I really enjoyed that we could catch a shuttle to the airport and after dropping off my dai Ughter at 4 am the same shuttle took me n Back to the hotel. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone. I appreciated the recliner since most beds are not comfortable for me and I sleep in a chair.
The breakfast was good with a nice variety of items offered. The larger size of the room was very helpful. The cleanliness was not up to my standards. I had to move the recliner to have access to something to set my cPap on and there was a lot of trash underneath it as well as in the sides of the chair.
The desk was sticky with food residue. For a handicap accessible room the shower was a tub that I had to have help getting in and out of. The gal at the front desk was very pleasant to deal with - we had booked online at the last minute driving our original target city for the day's driving was totally impacted with college move-ins so we had to drive an additional hour to Denver airport area It was clean comfortable and we were exhausted.
We arrived late and left early so really didn't seem much of the hotel. I was greeted and felt welcomed by the Gentleman who checked me in. He answered every questions I had about the location and helped me get to a destination. Clean and quiet rooms. I will stay again. That was an inconvenient to park at a distance. There were people roaming the property and doors propped open the entire time I was there.
It seemed like it was the go-to place for people to hang out - even if they weren't staying at the hotel. A guy sat in the workout room and watched free tv for hours. Someone else used the pool area. No one needed a room card since they were free to come and go. I felt like I was at a homeless shelter.
Rooms, first room was super hot, ac didnt work and smelled like cigarette smoke and had a musty odor. Front desk staff were all top notch and very helpful! Favorite part was the green space outside with swinging benches where we could relax and let our infant run around and point at the bunnies! The location and the hot breakfast were the only things good. The rooms were tidy, but the walls and amenities were overall filthy. I was surprised there wasn't a closet to hang coats or garments.
The beds were terrible and all had a bad nights sleep. I went down one morning to do some cardio and was bummed. I look for places to exercise when I book rooms and the treadmill was out of order it was older than sin, no wonder so I tried the elyptical, which had a broken foot peddle, seriously?? I mentioned this to the front desk and the staff there both said the had no idea, since they never really checked up on that area. All in all, I would never stay there again.
I have always stayed here post skiing.
This place looks good but is all to hell. Motel 6 Denver East - Aurora. All rooms are modern and free Wi-Fi is available. Enjoy our heated seasonal outdoor pool.
The staff was very friendly for our check-in. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, and the updates were nice. For a no-frills room to crash during a road trip or brief stay in Denver, I liked the location relatively near the airport. I stayed here knowing that wifi would not be included, but it still seems like a mistake.
There was also a broken towel rack in our room, but otherwise everything was functional. People smoking and doing drugs only, smoke dectectors going off, filthy. Trash littered the hallways and elevator. Didn't feel safe even with armed security. What did I not like, for the price I paid, at least a hair dryer, a few more amenities. Won't be staying here again. The staff was very friendly. I haven't stayed in a Motel 6 since the 80's and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as I remembered.
The beds were hard, which I liked. The beds were hard, which the kids did not like. People were smoking in the motel and it stunk. Cigarette smoke woke me up then, shortly after, the sound of someone else's shower woke up the kids. The walls are so thin, it sounded as if a pipe broke in our bathroom. In the morning, the floor of the elevator was sticky and there was a pile of towels outside the elevator covered in something that looked like vomit.
