Thin crust. Unique sauce. Exactly the right amount of cheese. Sold by the slice. A quarter of a century later, I find an Abo's in Niwot, a tiny town of people Northeast of Boulder. I go in for lunch, order a slice of cheese no need for other toppings at Abo's. They warm me a slice but offer to do another because mine's well done. Not burnt.

Just had a slice, which was large like a New York City slice - but not dripping oil, as many pizzas are. It was tasty, too, with a crisp crust. Not a thin crust or a fat one - just a regular, well cooked crust. Abo's is the best NY style, big slice, around these parts Proto's is great, but more of a gourmet pizza.

Abo's crust is a thinner crust, but not too thin, and the toppings are fresh, and the sauce is tasty. The crust on a small is the most perfect pizza crust I've ever had. It is crispy and not too thin and has a good almost buttery flavor. The bigger the pizza, the more soggy it gets we've found that a large crust gets soggy really fast, and the slices are HUGE!
Our favorite flavors are sausage they use the disc sausage- not crumbles of sausage , and the small Mediterranean pizza, which is quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. We usually buy pizza by the slice at this location; however, we made a big order to pick up in December, and they had it ready when they said it would be. The guys at this location are friendly but not overly so.
This is a place where Niwot High students head for lunch. I highly recommend it- if you don't like Abo's, you don't know real pizza. Not a fan of this style of pizza. It stays in business and the high school kids like it Pretty ordinary, thicker crust, bland sauce and I know that's not cheese. We stopped going a while ago. Own or manage this property?
