Legacy Platforms: I want deals for me, but I have to admit, that is a deal for the masses, and will have a huge impact. This is going to be a lot of kids first console, made possible by a great deal. You got ripped off in all sorts of ways. I bought it the second it was available but even days later you could still get one at best buy or even amazon. Yeah I kind of accepted that there would be a better deal down the road but I wanted to play Spider-Man and I could afford it.

When I bought it, no one had any information on future bundles, otherwise I would have waited for the RDR2 one at the very least. You got to realize there will always be better deals. You will probably never be able to take advantage of the best deal ever unless you were psychic. It would suck if however, you bought a PS4 a week ago or something. I must be psychic because I knew Black Friday would have a good deal.

Imagine going back to getting your first console, I remember the walk from my parents car to the mall to get it. This will finally get my original model PS4 back to being more than a streaming device. I've repaired the disk drive a couple times and finally declared it dead after the most recent issue.

So i get to upgrade my PlayStation for just the cost of tax. Shit I might do this? USB works way better in my experience. For some reason, lots of my cloud saves just won't upload. I never contemplated getting a pro, because 1. I live on a budget and 2. I just needed to use a US address to purchase the membership, then the code entered just fine and I've enjoyed a good 12 months of PS Plus.

I'm not from the US but I use an R1 account because it has better offers compared to my actual region. So o need digital codes for me to take advantage of the sale. I did stack them. IIRC, 3 years was ok. If I can I like to buy codes. I do the same for cards then redeem them myself. I haven't seen the Pro on sale anywhere for Black Friday.

For anyone considering upgrading, that's probably the best deal you're ever going to find, even without the discount. By the time the Pro actually does drop its regular price, you won't be able to get nearly as much for trading in as you can now.

That was last years price. Their lack friday stuff will likely drop later this week. I'm just waiting for the KH3 Pro pre-orders to finally open. It's only 2 months away, why won't they let me throw money at it? They were having supply issues not long ago because demand was so high. No reason to put them on sale when that's the case. Helps that they didn't bother to check if it was working because my HDMI port was broken. Sucks because I've been looking at getting one, but it also helps me make up my mind to not even bother with the Pro and wait til the 5 since that SHOULD support 4K out of the box.

Plus this gives me time to save up for a solid and not just budget 4K tv. You could buy the red dead version and if you already have the game sell it to someone so the pro is cheaper. I pulled off a pretty solid deal when I got my Pro last year. This is perfect! Now I get it new and with the Spiderman game?! I often describe the PSVR as your "nice sports car. I do love the reactions I get from guests coming over and trying it for the first time even non-gamers. Everyone agrees that it's amazing and a game-changer. I don't play it really much anymore. In fact it's probably been 2 or 3 months. My reasons are fairly numerous, but the main reasons are: For example, sparc I can play for quite some time because I'm standing and playing against someone right across from me. I'm also active so I'm keeping the blood flowing. Games like farpoint, on the other hand, I immediately feel that slight woozy feeling and have to handicap my movement to keep myself feeling healthy.

I need to block off the three Bay window, move around the furniture, cover the mirrors in my house, make sure the dogs are away, the cat is in his room, and no one is gonna need me for a bit. If you have a better situation, this might be extremely easy for you. If not, and you have some set up to do each time you use it, keep in mind it might get annoying.

Those are really the major things preventing more play and use. That being said, I really really love the system and bought one as soon as I played superhot at a friend's house, and don't really regret it too much as I played that game to completion and then some. Ouch, you've missed out on some seriously good stuff. Especially with that bundle. It's quite great, very cool conversation piece as well when I have guests over. Love to start it up and see their reaction when they first play. Doesn't look like there will be many Pro discounts. I think it is. Stores can't even keep stock of the PS Pro, so I highly doubt they'll put it on sale.

My wife and I got it last week, and I'm feeling pretty good about it seeing these black Friday deals. It's probably going to be even harder to get a pro as we get closer to the holidays, let alone trying to find a deal on one. I would say so.

Mine is nearly inaudible while playing, while his you can clearly hear the fans. So definitely worth.

Im gonna try to pick up the one with the controllers. What you have to take into consideration is what games you actually want. I feel like buying those separately would be more expensive.

Also, what does that link lead to? One of PS4's best exclusives, Astro Bot released recently. I would definitely get Move Controllers too. Wait and see of any other retailers have a bundle with them. I think this will finally be the time to get a crystal clear controller.

My current one makes lots of cracking noises: My controller has been taken apart and reconnected so many times I've named him Frankenstein. The entire Central plastic piece holding everything in place lost so many tabs I just gorilla glued it in place. The left vibrator doesn't connect anymore either lol. I keep that one and let my wife use the nice one because she's my wife lol.

But man I've been hurting for a new controller for a while now. I've been looking at getting a second ps4. Looking for insight on if should get this or wait till I can get a pro.
