This past Valentine's Day we decided to see if anything had changed, boy had it to our delightful surprise.

We ran into a corporate manager during this visit and he let us know he was there to bring this place to a new level of service. They have hired new staff and worked on timeliness of service. The food and service was so good we have now gone back at least twice a month. Have never been disappointed since Feb. Best fajitas, period!!

I have to say I do love Posados but we did not care for this location.. The salsa was very chunky with tomatoes and the tortillas we ordered were hard..

All in all,the food was fairly good,but it was the service that we were disappointed with. Our waitress disappeared for a good while,and she finally came back to check on us when we were halfway though our meal.
We had some items that we needed replacements for charro beans vs refried beans ,and we didn't get them swapped out until we were almost finished with the meal. I must say the beef fajitas were tender and tasty,and the rice was flavorful.
Our table piled up with our used dishes and no one came by until much later to clear the table. They do serve good complimentary sopapillas,which they served on the mostly cleared off table. Do these people not employ busboys? Very disorganized on the serving and cleanup. Almost everyone has their favorite Mexican restaurant. Conveniently located on the I Service Road, this location of Posados Cafe is easy to find and parking is plentiful. It takes a lot to really impress me, but Posados Cafe in Pflugerville hit the nail on the head.
Thank heavens for the BOGO coupons they sent, because we probably never would have found them without them. The decor inside feels authentic and cheery and their Beer Bottle Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling are really unique! Most of the waiters are friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. We were tended to quickly and while we were waiting for our dinner we were served the traditional salsa and chips, but this wasn't your regular ol' salsa and chips!
The salsa was tasty to both my husband and me which is highly unusual because he likes spicy stuff and I like mild.
It was a great blend of spices, very delicious and the chips were fresh and crispy. The real drum roll came when the food arrived. I had an Enchilada Dinner comprising of both a chicken and a beef enchilada, black beans and tortilla soup.

Oh my It was great, very fresh and hot with lots of chicken. Because Posados uses only white chicken in all of their chicken dishes, you know it's going to be good! If you're in the mood for seafood, you're in luck!
They offer Seafood Relleno's, Enchilada's and Tilapia, and it comes with their special seafood sauce. Although it is a simple concoction including shrimp, crawfish, tequila lime sance and mushrooms, it tastes like something that took hours to make. The sauce alone is enough to have you licking your chops at the very thought of eating at Posados.
