I would go back again, but would think twice about going with nCrowd. Had I known that they are one-in-the-same as KGB, I would not even have considered buying a voucher from them. I bought a car service voucher from KGB deals but then I had few problems with the booking with the business.
I contacted ncrowd Carl and Carl refunded the amount as store credit. I used the credit to book another deal but due to change in circumstances, I request Carl from ncrowd to cancel the deal and he did it in few minutes and again they refunded the amount as store credit. I purchased a spa deal for 2 including treatments from Kgb deals. After contacting the company to book this I was told that because Kgb deals had sold too many they were unable to honour it within the expiry date, although despite it being at least a 9 month wait they would still honour the deal.
Although being disappointed at the long wait I was accepting of this as I felt I would get to use it eventually and so could save it for a special occasion. Over a year on and I recently called to book my spa deal only to be told that the company has gone into administration. When I contacted ncrowd as it appears I can no longer contact kgb deals! I was bluntly told that they had taken over kgb deals customer data but in a nutshell they have no responsibility to compensate me.
I feel thoroughly conned. I have no idea what has happened to kgb deals, ncrowd appear to have taken on my account but are reluctant to accept responsibility.
I would advise people to stay clear. He credited my Ncrowd account to the value of the voucher I purchased. Obviously I would of preferred a full refund into my bank, but this was not possible as I bought my voucher from Kgb deals who are no longer trading. I find it a shame that it took for a negative review for someone from Ncrowd to actually be helpful and offer me a refund of sorts. Prior to this review I did email ncrowd only to be told they could not refund me in anyway.
However what is done is done, the matter is concluded and for that reason I change my original rating from 1 star to 2 star. Hi, I purchase two massage vouchers over a month ago. I have called the supplier many times to book an appointment. There are not able to fulfil the order. I do not have time to call again and again. I would like a refund on this purchase. I have emailed ncrowd multiple times and they are is a very slow response.
It takes them 2 days to acknowledge the email but no real help! I will not be using them again. I have used KGB deals before but the service was good. Very disapponted customer. However 6 weeks ago myself and my boyfriend each ordered 12 bottles of prosecco 24 in total. His bottles arrived 4 days later. Mine have never arrived. There is no way of contacting them by phone, so I have nowhere else to turn. I simply want to warn others that they can take your money, not deliver your goods and they ignore all your emails.
I am now going to have to contact my credit card provider and get they to claw back the money I paid to them. Their lack of a response has made me reluctant to ever use them again!
After a couple of cancellations from the spa company we were finally all booked in for December, only for the company to get in touch at the end of November to tell us that due to ill health they were going to have to give up the spa and we should contact whoever we had vouchers off to get a full refund.
I did this straight away. I am very very disappointed. I didn't get the service I paid for. I have purchased 2 vouchers from ncrowd and had problems witj both. We had booked a table at the restaurant only to find it shut down on arrival! Customer service offer less than what I paid for it for credit! This is completely unacceptable considering the amount of time and effort to get to the restaurant!
Sort it out!! I have purchased a voucher from them in September and haven't received the product. I emailed them and received a store credit and not the money back into my account. But same thing happen again. This time I have contacted the web18 company 3 times and told them that I haven't received their product.
Didn't even bother to answer my emails.
It's not about the money, it's about these companies. The Ncrowd have to take responsibility in the first place. I mean, what kind of company starts selling something without checking that the other company is genuine and not a scam? And what about the delivery money? Didn't have any of these problems with KGB Deals. All of this started when Ncrowd took over.
So am not happy with them any more!
Am going to delete my account with them! I have been a customer of Kgb for years and always found them fine, but the last few months have been awful. I ordered 3 vouchers with them from October to December and each one was terrible. Firtsly, In december I bought a a voucher for the restaurant Milano in Charing cross for my Boyfriend visiting london for a week. I book the table, we travel an hour and a half from Staines to Charing cross to be told they are not accepting Kgb vouchers anymore despite the voucher expiring in February!
I contacted Kgb in December, It has been a month and still will not give me a refund. They take weeks to responf to my emails and when they do they are completly unhelpful and say they are still contacting the merchant. With my other 2 vouchers, one merchant's machine wouldn't turn on half way through the treatment and the other voucher bought was for a roast for 2, but when I called to book they only served beef and my friend and I don't eat red meat. This was stated nowhere on the advertisment or voucher.
Carl below contacted me but I missed the call, and emailed him. When he did so, Ministry Of Sound took his details but failed to get back to him with confirmation. Complaints to LivingSocial didn't do any good either. The February course came and went - and Reece's Christmas gift had become useless as the expiry date of the voucher had since passed.
Reece received no experience and no refund, despite the promise on LivingSocial's website. It's a promise that has let other customers down too. Elizabeth Ludlow bought a voucher for a 'thrill-seekers' speedboat ride in December as a present for her son who was due to emigrate to New Zealand. As the voucher stated it was valid through until June 11th , she assumed it could be redeemed straight away. Instead, he got a nasty surprise: Elizabeth has now waited three months for a refund and for LivingSocial to resolve the issue, and her son has since emigrated.
She, like other customers with similar experiences, wants to know why Vouchers are sold, redeemed and fulfilled exactly as advertised. The remainder comprises customers who have changed their minds and obtain a refund, difficulties with supply by the retailer, or other problems with fulfilment. For all purchases, kgbdeals ensures it provides all customers with service and protection in line with consumer law.
We act on their behalf in resolving any issues with retailers, and we stand by our no quibble customer service. This additional support is welcomed by our customers and we are justifiably proud of our standards and service. Of course, sometimes resolution can take longer than it should, and we are working tirelessly to improve our service standards to be the best in class.
Regarding the two cases you have shared with us, had the customers bought direct from the suppliers at full retail price, our additional service and protection would not have been available.
We believe the peace of mind offered by our daily deals service is a powerful reason for its success, in addition to the very good value for money. They have now informed us they are satisfied with the resolution of the problem, and told us they will use kgbdeals again. Mr Tribe first contacted us on the 9th January and we replied the next day. His case was more complex and it took longer to resolve due to a technical error with our database logging, but I am satisfied our customer service team did everything they could to stay in touch with Mr Tribe and sort out the issues with the supplier.
The problems with the purchase have been resolved and he too has told us he would use kgbdeals again. We want to make it clear to all our current guests of all of our branches and of any potential guests, that we have a very generous refund policy and allow guests to cancel reservations at any point and promise that they will receive a full refund. We have offered the guest a complimentary stay with us at any of our branches for a full weekend of their choosing.
