I thought this was super neat and very unique. It's definitely worth visiting at least once and I'm sure I'll be going back, but it doesn't quite stack up to the great aquariums I've been to elsewhere.
I'm not certain where the word "aquarium" fits into the attraction. It was more like a mini rainforest attraction with an assortment of animals. There were some monkeys, lots of birds, lizards, etc.
They fit a lot into the space they have but it's tight. You spiral your way down and then get to a bottle neck where a bunch of attendees take a look at the really adorable otters that flit back and forth in their tank.

There is a sort of tiki hut cafe if you need refreshments. Then you make your way down to the "aquarium" where it's just a few tiny tanks much too small for the size of the animal inside! We were expecting sharks, whales, etc. I don't think I'll go back for another repeat visit.
It was too sad to see the animals in the conditions they were living in and too expensive to justify why we would go back. I have been here a few times; all within the last few years, and had I known how great it actually is, I would have been here much more often. I've went on the weekend where although it was crowded, I had a great time with my significant other! Great fun for humans of all ages!
Highly recommended!!! Truth be told, I was originally drug here as part of a family outing - My mother really wanted to go here for her birthday, as she is super into scuba diving, etc. My enthusiasm level for looking at fish all day long was quite low. But seriously, this place far exceeded my expectations. The entire place is amazing, so many cool fish, animals, and birds, not to mention a gorgeous setting and vegetation. The admission is pricey, but it was well worth the price. I got to touch a sloth!
And see pygmy marmosets! And otters! The glass hall under the shark tank was amazing. Seriously, loved it. We enjoyed our visit with a 3 year old son and recommended to a friend with small children. There were lots of kids on a Thursday afternoon but manageable for most part. It kept his attention pretty much the entire way. He was more interested in some things than his parents He was also fascinated watching a diver cleaning the inside of a tank. I say this is more like a zoo because of the animals they have which included bats, a leopard, various small monkeys, sloths, reptiles, a variety of birds geese, duck, flamingos, penguins.
Some of the animals are on display in the ticket line It is not the best aquarium we have visited as far as size of the tanks and aquatic life available, no dolphin show, etc. We felt the shark tank tunnel should be better managed One aquarium we visited has a conveyor belt to keep people moving through.
