The management of the Cove Rotana Resort rejected my confirmed booking during a Public Holiday, because a had a discount rate from my travel agency The Hotel had increased their room rate during the Public Holiday and rejected my confirmed booking on a discount rate I made my booking through a travel agency and not through the hotel site for 3 nights Before going to the hotel I contacted them for my booking, they adviced me that I don't have a booking and I should contact my travel agency.
Without stating that the hotel rejected my confirmed reservation because of the discount rate I had. When I contacted my travel agency, they assured me that my booking is confirmed and I don't have to worry. When I arrived at the Hotel on my reserved day, the front disk had no respect for my confirmed reservation. They only answered me with "we rejected your reservation", after waiting in a long queue for my check-in I asked to speak to their manager, waited for more time and asked for the Manager for few times before they show up.
They simply answered "we are not responsible for your booking and your travel agency are responsible" I tried to reach a solution with their managers, but they simply stated we are fully booked and can't offer you anything.
