Staff were terrific and room included a free hot breakfast and all day coffee. Staff were courteous and professional. We were the first Australians in fact first international guests to stay.

Next to several restaurants, fast food, bars and lots of shopping. Most of all the front desk staff was better than any hotel we've ever stayed at. The entire place was clean from the front lobby , down the halls and in our room. The place had a nice smell and not moldy or old. This hotel in Montgomery has been booked times. The cleanliness and size of the room. The Civil Rights Memorial is one mile away. Except for mix up of rooms everyone and everything was extra nice. This hotel features an outdoor pool, gym and free Wi-Fi in every room. The entire hotel was clean. Each room includes a microwave and refrigerator.

They cancelled my reservation and charged my card before I arrive. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the devastation that it caused in the Pan Handle of Florida. Some of the towns and coast will never be the same. I was one of the very lucky ones to have a home to go back to, yet it was battered and bruised, she still stands. I chose Montgomery due to the path of the storm and I felt it would be a safe location for me and my dogs to stay as the storm passed. Again, we were lucky on my choice of destinations on that also.
Many chose to go to Columbus or Dothan and were got up in its path. I pray for the families that lost members during this storm and after during clean up and recovery efforts, may God Bless America. The city is beautiful. We went to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. It was beyond amazing. The drivers and staff were extremely nice and welcoming, as well as informative.
We ate a Cucos Mexican restaurant. Our waiter was phenomenal! The food was delicious and prices were good. We also ate at a Waffle House the exceeded my expectations. Montgomery has come a long ways over the years, especially driving by seeing some of the beautiful homes and dining in some of Resturants. I was born in Alabama. Love to come back every chance I get. I don't want to discourage quests from staying the Hotel. As long as the problem has been taking care of as mentioned previous and further inspections frequently. I visited the casino there and had a great time.
While there we visited Fire Birds restaurant and the food was okay, but a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Before we left to head home we visited Martha's Place and loved the food. The beds were really nice and comfy. Staff was great in terms of the service they provided and overall hospitality. Very friendly staff team, sociable and professional, was able to give guidance and directions for the area, places to see etc.
I would recommend a stay at this hotel location. This is safe place for families and individuals very close to mall, highway and restaurants. Uber was very cheap if you do not have a car for travel within the area. The management was very helpful at check-in and a sign in the lobby said to ask anytime for assistance. It appears the management is only Ms.
Patel who treated us very kindly. Convenient location to I amongst other similar motor hotels, generally clean, all appliances working, shower strong and hot. Accessibility was good for an additional twin queen room booked for two seniors. Cannot comment on breakfast--seek another review for that.
Beautiful suite of rooms with full kitchen, living room, etc. I could live here. Facilities pool, tennis courts, outdoor picnic area could serve as condo units. Amazing for a stop over Hotel group.

It's unbelievable the value you get here for the money. It was clean, the mattresses were covered in plastic which we liked , it felt safe, spacious, and hats off to the man who checked us in upon arrival as he made us feel so welcome and appreciated. Their breakfast is phenomenal, rooms are very nice, great bed and the location is in walking distance of downtown with some nice restaurants for dinner.
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I have had great experiences at other Sone. This hotel is an old apartments converted into a hotel. It felt very unsafe and I was scared finding my room. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I checked in and felt very unsafe so I got in my car, which I was scared to walk to, and left. It was creepy and unsafe setup. There are multiple buildings with isolated corridors. They buzz you in and there's a security guard. I only stayed for one hour bc I felt so vulnerable.
The area in general is questionable and I do not recommend it. Staff was great from check in to check out. Definitely will be booking here for my family when they come to visit. Rooms in back of the hotel we're next to the interstate traffic noise all night long. Nice rooms but very noisy. The room was great. Comfortable bed and pillows. Pet friendly, easy access to interstate, lots of food choices around. The air in hotel was out so main part was super hot, door to my hallway leading out did not lock so this was a safety hazard. There were fleas in my room. If you are going to be pet friendly treat the rooms. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. The pool was NOT heated like advertised.
There was so much chlorine in the hot tub you couldn't turn it on because everyone in the pool area would have to leave because it burns your eyes so bad. They lied to us on the phone saying pets weren't allowed. Very nice hotel, very accommodating. Staff helpful and friendly. The staff was friendly and the room was as expected.
The pool area was disgusting and needs to be sprayed for fire ants. Considering that the pool is inside I did not expect it to be infested with bugs. During my stay I was bit by ants at the pool and had a severe allergic reaction. The hotel has ants in the room and at the swimming pool. One room was for 6 nights and the other room was for 3 nights. Horrible week at this hotel. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. We ended up having to pay for valet parking in order to get our car parked. The staff were very helpful and kind. We ended up having to request a roll-away bed and they were able to accommodate quickly and professionally. We had a corner room with a lot of windows. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was free and had a decent selection of foods.
The hotel is around the corner from a number of interesting bars and restaurants. The Hampton Inn Downtown Montgomery is an old hotels from the golden era that has been beautifully renovated and updated without doing away with the beauty and charm of a classic hotel. There is a double staircase in the lobby that leads to a balcony that surrounds the lobby on the second floor. The elevators still have the large dials over the doors with a needle that indicates the floor the elevator is on.
Just a beautiful place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and decorated very nicely. They also have a fantastic free breakfast bar with hot food. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. I had a corner room on a high floor and the views of downtown MGM were nice.

It's right in the heart of activities so the sounds of evening revelry were apparent. The bed was comfortable. The internet was incredibly wonky and essentially unusable! I had issues connecting with my MacBook and my iPad. The pillows could be better. The TV is small given the size of the room and the distance from the seated positions and the bed. The breakfast offerings were uninspired, but likely okay for families with children the hardboiled eggs were plentiful, though!
This place was very nice. If you like history, staying in something more authentic, this is the place. It's an old building that used to be the Grayson and has been modernized with still some old touches on the inside. We had a great room with a view of the riverfront on one side and on the other a beautiful Greek Revival church. We were on the top floor and were able to sleep with the curtains open. However, there are a few you oughta knows: Also, there's not a tub, only a shower. Wouldn't be an issue, but there was only two small shelves to put all my stuff shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Might have been simply worn, but you had to push in the handle while turning it to turn on and control the water flow. We had to call for help. Comfort Inn and Suites East Chase. We got our luggage and went downstairs to request another room. The manager was rude and didn't even offer an apology, didn't say one word to us!!! The cleanliness of the location and the friendliness of the staff. Hotel is a little difficult to reach due to the routing of traffic in that area. The air conditioner in our room was terrible. Our room was hot the entire stay. I had to get new keys, because they checked us in for only 1 night.
It was a fairly nice hotel, breakfast was pretty good quality food. Very warm and humid in the halls and in the room. I liked that my sheets were clean and the room was comfortable. The hotel was by the interstate, so you could hear car's blowing the horns and big trucks driving by. When I first got to my room there was a dirty tampons already in the trash can that was smelly so I closed the door. But I still enjoyed my overall visit. I didn't like that pool was not available and that was the only reason I chose that Hotel. Hot bar breakfast, cleanliness of hotel and room.
The indoor pool was nice and the breakfast was delicious. I was given a very quiet, clean room which was greatly appreciated after a long day of driving. There were no hassles at check in.
