Was a little hurt years ago when they had a menu change because a few of my favorite dishes were put to rest: But the real reason I go back??
Don't know whats in there, but its completely different from anywhere else. I'm salivating on my keyboard.
Very authentic Chinese Dim Sum and a varity of choices; Sometime service is slow but the food has never been disappointed; You may have to wait for the tables but your time is well worth the waiting!!!! I love dim sum on the weekends, they have a great selection and all of it is very fresh and delicious from what I was brave enough to try Very busy on Sunday afternoon so get there early or go on Saturday. I have been on the weekdays for lunch and like the lunch specials and have always gotten good and prompt service even when they were very busy I never had to wait too long min for a table.
They have a limited selection of dim sum during dinner if you can't make it on the weekend mornings.
I like that the food is serve steaming hot and fresh but it is very westernize. If you go at happy hour the selection is limited, you have to sit at the bar and order drinks. Service even at non-rush hours is very slow. The waitresses seem more interested in filling the sugar containers then taking your order or serving you tea. If you are going to eat here expect it to be a leisurely meal not fast and timely. I love this place. My favorite dish is the mango chicken. I was only disappointed by this dish when they started making it spicy. Their other dishes are good too. Don't go to the one on Marbach - big difference and limited menu.
The Golden Wok at this location is always very presentable and clean. The staff is very friendly and always taking care of you to make you feel that you are a V. I love to eat here! They have a wide variety of Chinese Food and the prices are great. I have a client that I go and see from time to time in the same neighborhood and always stop in here and grab a bite. In Asian cuisine, this place is a safe bet. The food is good - a little too americanised but definitely nice. They have options in Chinese, Thai and pan Asian.
The place is kinda nice - good open seating, large TV, a good bar and a do-your-own meal kind of thing. The prices are higher. I liked my meal. I had plenty to eat. The egg roll was yummy. This location has been a Thai Restaurant for over 20 years and if you haven't visited in the last 6 months get ready for a new experience. Taipei is one of mine and my husbands husbands favorite restaurants.
We've made it a special place for just the two of us to have dinner on ""Date"…. I've been to china twice. This place is just like that. Only place in San Antonio I've seen like that. So if you want that kind of food, you'll like…. The first time I went I had a egg roll which by the way was crazy greasy n rough, but I was so hungry i still ate it.
The second time I went I order…. This is really a great place to have lunch or dinner. Try the Mongolian beef or Orange Chicken. You will come back for more. I have been going to this buffet for over ten years now.
WOAI did a review that said they had problems. I see the owner checking the te…. I ordered 3 entree's and the gave me 3 dinners. A traditional dish popular in the streets of Hong Kong and southern China New - Chinese Calendars Wall Scroll calendars in gift box. Egg Drop Soup 3.
