King size bed was nice and room was very clean. Loved the privacy the hotel room provided guest access only. We also saw a show here and it's very convenient to go right down to the theater from your room. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The hotel staff were all very polite and eager to assist me in every way. However, the lobby bar waitresses were less than effective.. For example, I had to request a napkin that normally accompanies a drink, which provoked a "glare". Sorry I asked.

I'm platinum elite and very sick about the situation. The National Harbor is a very exciting place to visit The Gaylord Hotel is host to a fabulous ice show. It's a nice little place, at spitting distance from the capital. It is along the water with great views and restaurants. Not a sightseeing destination but I had a great conference there and also got ot relax, look at the casino and shop some.
