Now to my understanding that would be reserving which is exactly what he said we could not do. At that point, I had no desire to rent from them anymore so after the parasail, we left.
Not sure why we were denied service but I was very disappointed and do not plan on ever going back to this company. Jet Skis are first come first serve. No one in the harbor reserves jet skis because they go out as quickly as they come in. Customer was told we would not hold them. This is our policy because in the past when we have held jet skis for a customers and they don't show up or show up late, while I have folks at our facility ready to rent. The most anyone has to wait is 1 hour. Paperwork takes 20 min and the safety briefing another 20 minutes -- and we do all that while the customer waits for their jet ski.
This customer was unreasonable and beligerant at the desk. We pride ourselves on customer service. Some folks their just no pleasing them.
We had a great time on the boat, even though the driver seat was not attached to the boat and there was no radio. Comparable rates to other rental places except we went for 4 hours and got charged for 8.
Owner has yet to reimburse. This customer reserved a boat for a full day. They came back early and said they had a great time but the heat was too much for the full day.
They asked if they could get half their money back being that they did not use the full day. I explained that they reserved a full day boat and there were no refunds on early returns.
The customer acted as if I was being unreasonable, -- whats unreasonable is expecting me to eat half a days rental. Also, as a standard rule, none of the rental businesses have radios on their boats. If we did, we would be out at crab island every afternoon jump starting our boats because the batteries were run down by radios.
It was the worse pontoon rental ever on our destin vacation. The boat didn't work properly. It was covered in barnacles. Three people in our party got cuts on their feet trying to get up on the barnacle covered ladder and the boat does not have a radio. I recommend a different rental company where you get better equipment for the same price. Regret spending the money for low quality rental. I don't know who this reviewer is. There are no barnacles on our ladders because they fold out of the water.
There are no radios on our boats. When radios are on boats, customers run the batteries down and we have to come out to jump start them. None of the major rental companies have radios on their boats. I suspect this reviewer is a competetor. We rented a pontoon boat and had so much fun!
Went to Crab Island and swam on the sand bar- took it out further and saw Dolphins. Staff was friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! The staff was friendly and great they are very helpful and told us some interesting points to see. The boat was OK at best it's driver seat was not fastened to the floor it only has a 50 hp motor and with nine people on the boat we can only do about 5 miles an hour.
