Wonderful beach town, loved the bar district street for walking shopping and people watching. A lot of great restaurants, old town was very nice,the golden dune beach was one of my all time favourite in Portugal. A city designed for tourist, great food, great transport link to leisure centres,facilities and nearby towns and beaches, very friendly people. Visit to Zoomarine,Aqualand,Splill splash and fiesa is a must. I've visited Albufeira several times with friends. It has a couple of lovely beaches and the Old Town is a must visit for families and couples with lots of restaurants and late bars.
The strip in Albufeira attracts a much younger crowd and gets very busy. There's plenty of variety to suit all. Albufeira is one of my faviourite places to visit. There is plenty to do in regards to day trips.
