Order correctness can be hit or miss at peak times but they have always fixed their mistakes. DP dough is one of my favorite late night food spots. It would be better if they quit using eat street to deliver. Or make sure eat street hires people who have a clue about where things are on campus. I always have an issue with the delivery. Food was in proper order and as good as it always is. Most people would probably be fairly angry though, so keep it in mind. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from here. The first time was a solid 5 across the board. However, tonight was a different story.
My food was delivered 35 minutes late. Because it didn't arrive on time, I had to stand downstairs to let the driver in since my building locks the outer door at 8 pm Meaning no access to the buzzers in the foyer. When I called, I was told he should be here any moment. Twenty-five minutes later and he still had not arrived. I called again. I was assured he was finished with his other 3 deliveries and was almost here.
They told me if anything was wrong with the food to let them know and they would make it right, which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars tonight. I had a medical procedure early in the day and had slept for most of it. I did not feel up to cooking, so decided to order out. I could have asked them to send out fresh food. My tots are ice cold. The classic Italian is cold. The cheese has solidified instead of being gooey and stringy. The bottom crust was so soggy, it ripped when I tried to pick it up.
I am so disappointed, but I just don't have the energy to venture down to the ground floor and stand in the foyer to have fresh food delivered.
I always tip generously. If they were that busy, they should not have said the food would be here before 8 pm. I would have ordered elsewhere to get a shorter delivery time. Also, sending so many orders out for delivery at the same time with no way to keep the food warm should not happen.
Food into the garbage. Heating up a can of soup, which is probably what I should have done in the first place. If I wasn't in pain, and wasn't so lethargic from today, I would have insisted the food be replaced Maybe this was a one off, because truly the first time I ordered was so delicious. Totally bummed right now. Food was great, but it got here decently late. Food was warm so we had to throw it in the oven for a few minutes. Order arrived 45 minutes late. When I finally sat down to eat I opened the box and discovered the side sauce had busted open soaked my calzone entirely. The resultant mess was a wet and cold calzone.
For someone who rarely orders delivery for fear of mistakes like this, this does not make me want to order from GrubHub again. Not as good as I thought it could be, I have had better calzones. I was very pleased with my order today! I got the Thanksgiving 'zone Brownie was excellent! My delivery was early! Overall I'm very pleased!

This is one of the best restaurants in Champaign hands down. Restaurant is fine. When you transfwrred the info to eat street, grub hub told eat street were at west green in Champaign, but it was west green in Urbana. Best Calzone I've ever had! Delivery came on time and there was plenty of food to go around.
