At first, you will ascend up a VERY steep hill, then when you get towards the top, it will level off. The views both on the train and at the top are just absolutely breath-taking. Half the fun is just getting there and before you board, they will do some car inspections and at random times blow the horn. Then when you arrive, you have 45 minutes to do some self exploring, then when the horn sounds, that's the signal to start boarding for the ride down.
It is like a huge roller coaster except of course without the so called loop-de-loops. On the ride up, you pass a water tower and an area name Jacobs Ladder. Don't worry, there's plenty of room.
