Food was fresh and delivered with a nice presentation More. Pasta was cold when arrived to the table and was a very small portion after being claimed to be the large size. Having walked past Mash on several occasions I had a chance to meet up with a few friends. Easy to find West End location and, on a Friday, expected to find it packed with tourists and the night-out crowd. Pleasantly surprised therefore to find a large, calming and comfortable interior.
Staff were attentive and friendly and our meal arrived quite quickly. The steaks were extremely tasty and prepared exactly to our liking and the accompanying sauces also complementing nicely. Personally, I would have preferred the side dishes to be cough, cough larger, but I guess they're not the reason one goes to Mash In all, an enjoyable evening with really good food and wine.
Should be a must try on everyone's list. I have been to Mele e Pere several times and love it! It's a great atmosphere, with delicious food and excellent service. Brilliant for catching up with friends or for a quick bite before the theatre. Hands down my favourite spot. Food pre theatre menu was spot on and big enough. One of our favourite eateries. Top notch food, a real treat! Food was amazing, service was excellent. On the expensive side but worth every penny. Amazing staff, they could not have done more.
What a great place! We had the tasting menu with matched wines and every course was a treat. Added bonus of seeing everything come together while at the kitchen facing bar. Good service and good food. He loved the taste of home-grilled burgers, hand-cut fries cooked to golden perfection, and thick, cool milkshakes slurped by straw.
