Okay for working "stiffs" yet this is NOT the place to take a date, exception--a "cheap" date. Sad to see this old place go down Not worth the effort to drive to and the food is only mediocre.
Go for the Lunch Buffet - Cavanaugh Pizza
Only reason we stopped by was we were in the area and this was where we once came on date nights I usually stop in for the Lunch Buffet and there is almost always plenty of pizza available. The rest of the time, they offer Buy 1 Get 1 Free on pizza, but I've never tried it to see if it's any better. They're good for a quick in and out lunch, but the food doesn't have a lot of flavor. In addition to pizzas, they have garlic bread, pasta in meat sauce and pasta in alfredo sauce, but again, it all seems kind of bland. Depending on who you get as a server, the service mostly drinks or removing dirty plates ranges from good to mediocre.
Seating is somewhat limited at Lunch, so you're often encouraged to share a table with other customers. If you're wanting just a "quick fix" for pizza, it's OK.

If you want great pizza, it's not here. We have visited this pizza place for years and enjoy the food and old yet cozy interior. The buffet nights are our favorite because we can get such a variety of pizza choices. But our pizza cravings bring us here on nonbuffet nights too because they never skimp on the toppings.
