They persistently fail to respond within the industry required day window. They even fail to respond to some correspondence at all. They are just as bad. Wish I could give Virgin Holidays zero stars and even that would be too kind.

Customer service is second to none and loved flying with Virgin. Would highly recommend. Writing this review to say how pleased we are with Melissa at Virgin Holidays, Camberley who has demonstrated excellent service, knowledge and patience when dealing with our requests and booking our holiday. We have received the highest level of excellent customer service once again from Melissa during booking yet another holiday and we have even recommended to our friends that they use Melissa and they have not been disappointed. Melissa has gone above and beyond once again for both us and our friends.
Nothing is too much trouble and she never complains despite the numerous alterations to our booking and phone calls asking for her help. So a BIG thank you Melissa for all you very efficient and amazing service. Melissa is extremely professional and Virgin Holidays should be very proud indeed to have her representing them.

Family spent the night on the floor in Newark with a 5 year old. After sales response, all our fault.
Nothing Virgin about this holiday. Parmed off to other companies. When booking our holiday they were all out for going out of there way to help us, once money was paid, that went straight out the window. We have had to chase up and make sure x2 cots were in our suite which then we found out that had two queen beds which is going to allow us to have even less room for our twins! When we spoke to the manager about this she had absolutely no interest and just wanted again more money. I would no way recommend them! And would definitely not be spending any more of our hard earned money with them!

Issues from the moment of booking our honeymoon. The hotel which has numerous complaints lied but this has been believed by Virgin holidays over the the Virgin reps and our complaints. I booked my two week holiday for two in Florida with Virgin Holidays on the evening of Christmas Day, hoping that I would get a decent price.
So I missed out on better deals thanks to Virgin's highly unethical business practices. I telephoned customer service to complain but was simply fobbed off with the usual pathetic excuses. This level of service is utterly unacceptable! They have just taken my money without the slightest care or concern in terms of offering me value for money. To say that I am angry is a severe understatement!

They even admitted it was their fault, left us stranded in Detroit arrived at hotel Vegas , room was more like a squat, complained, said they would waiver the resort tax fee, which by the way we weren't even there for. They offered upgraded room which we paid for, then when we returned to our room we were locked out so we couldn't retrieve our belongings including our passports security called and we were left in the hotel corridor until 2: Missed a show which we prebooked and paid for and a whole night of the holiday. This is just a mild version of what happened, when we got back, 3 months of complaining, so I decided to call and try to resolve the complaint, just wanted a 'sorry' and the belligerent attitude of Virgin staff was shocking saying it was our fault and we wouldn't pay compensation incidentally I never asked for any.
Apparently I had attitude and the hotel paid compensation anyway by refunding 2 nights resort tax which we had to pay anyway not Virgin. Their attitude was shocking, do yourself a favour book with Ryanair you'll get a better service. Virgin Holidays They should close down as a holiday company, really bad We have been disrespected, let down and worse of all ignored. I would never ever recommend this company, the flights and the holiday the worst i have ever, EVER been involved with.
We arrived at our accommodation at about We were advised to get something to eat before going to our room so we walked to the all night bistro, as we walked I commented to the bell boy what is that awful smell to which he commented that they had problems with water features, It smelt like sewage.
We walked to our room and the smell was quite obnoxious but bell boy said it will be sorted, we eventually got into bed about 1am after a long day travelling, I was woken up by someone persistently knocking on our door, I got out of bed half asleep to find another bell boy asking for our luggage to check out!!! We got up because now we was awake we could not get back to sleep with all the traffic noise from the road so we went and had breakfast and yes the smell of sewage was still in the air.
Now we booked this hotel on its description and photographs from Virgins website which in the day light was a big disappointment, the hotel grounds looked more like an unfinished building project rather than the luxurious water filled gardens as advertised. We were not informed before departure about the severe maintenance work going on in the hotel. Now if you go on the Royalton website it goes to great lengths to say the hotel won an award in but if you dig deeper this hotel was formally a Sandals resort and was sold in December to the Royalton group and the award was in Jan so really it was being judged on the sandals resort because talking to staff nothing has been done to the Hotel since, when you walk around there are bits of paving missing and everywhere you go the hotel is very tired, Next to the cave in the swimming pool the plastic grid around pool is all broken.
They said they were working on the lazy river to get it rectified but all I ever saw was one man sweeping every now and then for my whole stay, If this was urgent why not put a team onto the problem to get it sorted. They started putting water in on our last day but this was brown dirty water.
DO NOT waste money on upgrading to the hotels so called preferred treatment club Diamond Club Nobody ever checks you except Beach in the restaurants and if you give enough dollars you can get the top shelf drinks which are intended for the Diamond club members, we saw our butler once in 2 weeks.. WRONG when you have paid for the privilege. The only restaurant worth eating at was the Tex mex where the food was ok but the service was shocking as you had to constantly ask for a drink.
