All the things to do, the museums, Navy Pier is an event in itself, all the mallls and tons of restaurants. Chicago was very different to other cities with it different levels. An interesting mix of old and new buildings. The history of Chicago is also very interesting. We shopped in Wicker Park. What an interesting area with great places to shop and dine.
There are so many things to see and do. Going to see Blue Man Group was a highlight of our trip. Seeing the larger side of our state is always eye opening to students. Well my daughter lives there for one. The restaurants are very good and there is always something to do.
No additional comments received, other that shopping the Magnificent Mile is always a treat for a ladies group. We were there for a wedding. Did go to the Lincoln park zoo and the aquarium which were great. Navy Pier is packed with activities and gorgeous waterfront scenery, and Millennial Park is a fabulous space for walking, picnicking, jogging, photography, people-watching, and so on. It's the best in the Mid-West. We live in the Chicago suburbs. It was great to have the view of the lake and the river walk just outside our hotel.
We hosted a wedding at Galleria Marchetti and it was wonderful. We took pictures in the gardens at the Art Institute. Some of our guests went to see Hamilton on Sunday afternoon. The Air and Water show was taking place on Saturday and that was great entertainment. Chicago is an awesome city. Exciting environment; great walking city, hot spots to eat, drink and mingle Great people-watching town downtown: Chicago was a fun city with a lot to do.
We were easily busy for two days straight and could have spent significantly more time there. The city of Chicago was not only beautiful but it was clean! It offered lots of options for activities and it left me wanting more!
Never left the hotel! Study session for doctoral comp exams. Did get sick of Outback, but we could have ordered out our decision. We enjoyed our time in Chicago. We liked it more than New York. Chicago things I liked: Michigan Avenue Hancock Tower - chicago and Tilt! Chicago is my new favorite city. The opportunities for cultural experiences were great.

One of the most exciting cities to visit. I had lots of international travelers, who were delighted with the opportunity of visiting Chicago for the first time. The Hard Rock Hotel Chicago is so convenient to so many downtown attractions and Chicago is definitely a walkable city when the weather is as nice as its been this week.
Working with students from in-state, a free visit to the Museum of Science and Industry is always an outstanding bargain. Additionally, the free admission to the Lincoln Park Zoo , which is for anyone, is one of the better values the city as to offer. Chicago is one of my top 5 "must see" cities. The city is full of amazing people, history, culture, music and architecture.
I travel there every year for a trade show and every time it's just as exciting as the last. Chicago is such a fun city to visit, especially in the summer. All the people out and about and the great sites to see. I recommend going on a river and lake cruise. You will learn a lot and see some fabulous views. Very walkable with multiple attractions for everyone from foodies to culture, history to live entertainment, and even shopping all within steps of each other! Everything was great from Goose Island to Entertainment Park. The architecture is incredible all over the city.
There are also many great restaurant options. There's so much to see and do! Michigan Avenue and the Riverboat cruises were both great. Navy Pier was beautiful with the fireworks show. We really enjoyed visiting Pilsen and Chinatown for our cultural discovery project. It has been about 15 years since I have been to Chicago and I really enjoyed our time there.
Just allow for minutes and you're fine. Our Charter company, TriState Travel, provided professional and customer-oriented service with friendly drivers. Greatly enjoyed a performance of A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre, always gets you in a holiday mood. Excellent food at Blackie's and the owners were great to work with.
Dave and Buster's not only provided a great breakfast , but awesome experience for our group, allowing us to have the whole restaurant and gaming area to ourselves prior to the restaurant opening for the public. The Skydeck experience is something everyone should try during a visit to Chicago with's its views and the Ledge attraction. Water Tower Place is a great shopping experience, with many stores to visit and some pretty good dining options. I would also recommend Riccobene's on 26th street.
Chicago has the incredible luck of having hundreds of ethnic restaurants as well as American favorites. If you can't find something good to eat, you have no taste buds. Tanta restaurant for small plates and Pequod for Pizza was superb.

Some of our group went to the Purple Pig and said it was well worth the 2 hour wait. Windella Architectural cruise was just excellent and the spicy bloody Mary's the bartender made were perfect. Farmhouse for Brunch was a great ending to a super weekend. Chicago has an energy all of its own, coupled with the genuine friendly nature of natives made this an enjoyable experience for all our guests. The flower boxes along Michigan Avenue, State Street, and even in the Loop have added a great deal of beauty to Chicago.
The friendliness of people on the CTA buses, "L", and taxi drivers were a nice surprise that we had not experienced in or during my own semi-annual trips to Chicago for the Chicago Dental Society Mid-Winter Dental Seminars. Five days just was not enough time to see more than half of our "Wish List. The architectural tour on the river, Millennium Park, many restaurants and baseball games were amazing.
The Allison Woods Park, the Navy Pier, boat tours, outlet shopping mall and museums were great to visit. Greatest city on the Great Lakes. Lots to do especially around the lakes. If your in the mood and the weather is nice you can rent a bike and ride north along the lake bike path to Wrigley Stadium to catch a Cubs Game.

We have enjoyed Chicago before, just never long enough to get familiar with the transit systems, which are excellent, by the way. Navy Pier was a great place to spend an afternoon. The location was within walking distance of shopping, theaters and any type of restaurant imaginable. Nicest people in a city that I have encountered.

Skydeck is a must: The Museum of Science and Industry is the best attraction in Chicago. You need a whole day to see this, and still might not be able to see it all. Navy Pier is fun for kids.
